There does seem to be an acceptance between nadal and djokovic fans about how great each one is. I am not sure why Federer fans dislike both so much. They are nice guys just like Federer is.Because Rafa fans applaud and recognize the Greatness of The Earth's Mightiest, unlike the salty and bitter Federinas. That's all there is to it, Papi.
What happens if Nadal wins #20 in Paris? The tide will shift back over to Nadal to break the Slam record won't it?
I dont think Nadal and Djokovic fans have an issue with the other player breaking records. Each fanbase prefers their own guy but also respects the other. What happens if Nadal wins #20 in Paris? The tide will shift back over to Nadal to break the Slam record won't it?
Maybe but I'm talking realistically now. Most people have already accepted that #20 will be broken. Even Federer himself has accepted that reality. So the race is basically between Nadal and Djokovic as to who will be the Slam leader. If that happens, the Federer fans will be crying even more, no ? Yes ? No ?
It doesn't matter, tbh. Because they will be relegated as the 2 Greatest in the history of tennis.Maybe but I'm talking realistically now. Most people have already accepted that #20 will be broken. Life will go on for everyone regardless. It doesn't matter, tbh. Because they will be relegated as the 2 Greatest in the history of tennis.
It's just a shame for the Fed fans when Fed becomes 3rd in the race for the Most number of Majors. Their GOAT joy powder will be blown off like a Dust Castle

Nadal isn't winning indoor RG. For sure not this year.Of course and I expect Nadal to win French Open. However, Novak has a very good chance at the other 2 slams. Novak is at best joint 2nd favourite at the French but can’t see Rafa losing at Paris.
Yes thanks for the reminder lol40-15 is what I remember
That's good to know. Even better when Nadal and Djoker have the most number of Majors.Life will go on for everyone regardless.
That's great and all. Records are made to be broken. But like I said, life will go on. The big 3 will retire, new players will take over...and on it goes. That's good to know. Even better when Nadal and Djoker have the most number of Majors.
For a guy talking about how salty Fed fans are, all I ever see from you is negativity toward Fed and his fans. Do as I say, not as I do?That's good to know. Even better when Nadal and Djoker have the most number of Majors.
You said the same thing last 2019 FO and USO. Your schtick of being Clarky the 2nd is just looking more and more idiotic.Nadal isn't winning indoor RG. For sure not this year.
An eye for an eye, ChichiFor a guy talking about how salty Fed fans are, all I ever see from you is negativity toward Fed and his fans. Do as I say, not as I do?

Djokovic beat sh*tty servebot Raonic and a dead old grandpa Federer coming into the finals. So he was completely full of energy. I think it will be a lot tougher if he has to go through any 2 or 3 of Zverev, Tsitsipas, Kyrgios, Medvedev and Thiem in succession. He only played 1 of them and even then it was a massive struggle to win it.I think Nole has one more Slam in him. The other guys are catching up fast as we saw today with Thiem.
Ah, yes, that most mature reason for doing deliberately ill-intentioned things: “He did it first!”An eye for an eye, Chichi

Mike Sams was one of the first posters I thought of after Djokovic's win today.Djokovic destroyed Raonic who had straight setted Tsitsipas and Cilic, and who by far had the biggest serve of anybody in the 2nd week. Djokovic took everything Thiem threw at him today despite being below his best for 2 sets, and still won although you kept predicting his defeat. Lol.

That's true. Most Fed fanatics are not matureAh, yes, that most mature reason for doing deliberately ill-intentioned things: “He did it first!”
You just know towards the end of the match he was thinking to himself "why couldn't it have been Wawrinka in the final instead of Thiem?!"I'm sure he loved the result of the final.

About as amusing as what’s on the heel of my foot! This is a troll thread, made in jest. Hopefully most saw it that way.
Yes thanks for the reminder lol
But the ones that stung the most for me were:
2008 Wimbledon
2009 Australian Open
2011 French Open and US Open
2014 Wimbledon and US Open
2015 US Open
2016 Wimbledon (I thought this was Fed's last chance to win)
2019 Wimbledon
Djokovic beating an in form opponent like raonic Shows just how dangerous thiem is.You could see last night djokovic trying to solve his thiem problem. He was that close to having another Stan problem if he lost last night.Djokovic destroyed Raonic who had straight setted Tsitsipas and Cilic, and who by far had the biggest serve of anybody in the 2nd week. He was a mess. He was being heckled. And when he got the time violations he served quicker prob was not prepared for that. He started to play calm in the 3rd set. He needs to play like that.Djokovic was in excellent form this tournament but he lost the plot today. For one thing, I don't know how let himself get dehydrated during a match of this caliber and two, his attitude was poor at times. He really needs to stop doing that and never bring that negative energy into a Slam final. I really really did not like that or how edgy he was this tournament. If he hadn't gone off the boiler like that, he probably would have won this in 4 sets. But yes, Thiem is very dangerous and has massively improved on hardcourt. He is going to be a problem for Nadal and Djokovic going forward if he stays on this track.

Yeah he was getting major saltly fans. Even Booed his aces and good serves. He was going at them which i think helped him win. He had several ef you angry games where he just blasted serves and blasted ground strokes and vollies. Won most of them too.Did he get heckled? I felt the crowd really got behind Thiem but I didn't realize that. I did see his own supporters got really loud in that 4th set and I think that helped re-energize him. He started of well though and just blistering the ball, then started unraveling in the beginning of the 2nd. I'm glad he was able to get himself together and tough this one out though.

He might have been over compensating in the beggining wanting to.show thiem who was the boss. Basically cooled off and thiem got warm. Nerves. Thiem is rough for him.Did he get heckled? It will follow him everywhere. It is just constant now. Might cool off a bit if nadal gets to 21.Wow, that's a shame. I'm glad I didn't realize this during the match.

It is his one must suffer in anguish on the cross of his greasy serbian orthodox faith. LOL.It was that 1 all game in the 2nd set. Thiem hit a backhand down the line winner and he felt it was because he didn't hit a good enough shot and got very negative out of the blue, all of sudden. It was only 15-30 at that point and he started barking to his box and unraveling. This is how the match started to turn. There was no need to get upset there since he won the first set and was in control. Then bam, he makes two double faults and gets broken and let Thiem take the momentum. The train derailed and he saved it just in the nick of time.

From a Rafa fan big well done to Novak. Especially given the abuse he was getting. I dont know of i am using this correctly but Idemo to all djokovic fans.Yeah he was getting major saltly fans. I might be right some day though. Maybe 3-4 years from now when Djokovic is 37-38. NoleFam, stop trying to convince everyone here that you're a fan of Djokovic. It was that 1 all game in the 2nd set. Maybe....maybe not.Rafa will most likely be the first to surpass Fed's slam record, but Novak will pass both eventually.
NoleFam, stop trying to convince everyone here that you're a fan of Djokovic.
Everyone knows you were jumping when Thiem was having his way.
Thiem is erratic even when he's in the lead. Multiple double faults and unforced errors on his own serve and allowing the likes of Nadal and Djokovic to break back and even the match, and they didn't even have to do anything other than let him implode. Thiem isn't ever going to win a Slam if this is how he deals with the big moments. It's not talent. It's just his mindset. He can't deal with pressure in the big moments unfortunately.
