What is he gonna play before the FRENCH? Or is he still injured?? Just wondering, Davydenko and Djokovich seem really close to catching his spot at number 3.

I wouldn't be surprised if Roddick surprises with a few nice wins on clay this year. In fact i'll be surprised if he doesn't make the quarters at one of the events.

Roddick doesn't like clay courts

I agree, there are too many good players out there to get Andy Roddick on clay, he has no chance...

I think Thomas Berdych, who just got to the semi's of Monte Carlo including a 5-7 set with Nadal, might disagree with you.

I would have to agree. He is #3 in the world and I would say even on clay, that gives him a punchers chance against 95% of the players out there on a given day, he did make the semis of Rome. Not that we'll see him in the final of RG, but if he has a great week of serving he could be around on the second Sunday in Paris.

Not winning the French is not what will keep Andy Roddick out of the Elite players of the past, but not winning any other majors will keep him from that..
