Hey Jolly,

I see you are testing a lot of stuff. Isn't that ruining your style?

I mean you have to adapt every time to a new frame, a new string. Isn't that a bit nasty?

I didn’t care for lynx so what does the tour version have to offer?
I was on the play test for TW (link here). It was the Head Experimental Tour, later named Lynx Tour. It is very slightly shaped, not too jagged edged like some other shaped polys and I felt it played closer to round polys than shaped ones. Very soft and comfortable and it made for a very consistent stringbed (unlike regular Lynx which I felt was somewhat erratic). I liked this Lynx Tour, would definitely recommend you give it a shot since you like trying out different strings!

@J011yroger any possibility for a review of RPM power? I didn’t scroll through all 33 pages so I’m assuming you haven’t reviewed it.

Thoughts on lynx tour (champagne/experimental) compared to bbo/alu/ptp?

Been playing with bbo in 6.1 and it's a dream. However switching to the ezone 98 it doesn't quite have the same mass that the wilsons have. I've ordered a few strings to try them out.

Thing with my yonex switch is that they don't have the same mass, but i've switched because it's lighter and because i've got 3 of them and won't have to worry about babying them.

Just trying to see what's out there and just want something easier on the arm whilst still getting good comfort. Although bbo was stiff I never got any tingling or anything.

I've got both sets coming and i'm not sure what tension they were in my wilsons because they came pre strung

What would you recommend? (ezone 98 2020)

Not at good as Luxilon, better than PTP which is awful. Better than any Yonex poly for that matter.

Hey Jolly, any review for RPM rough with nat gut in the main, and comparison to alu power 17? Sorry if it's here, but there's a bit to go through.
Cheers,
Greg.

Gah, talked to the Aus rep and they don't stock BK 1.28. Not even going to bother with 1.23 as I know it won't last.

Any similar alternatives to suggest?

Why look for alternatives. Click add to cart. Buy. Then string it and hit away.

There's no option to pay. Haha.
