Thank you! So the newest Pacific version at 63 should have slight more pop/stability in stock form. Decisions decisions. Going to wait to see what the new Volkl 10 looks like and if they fail me...all aboard the Fischer train!

Will TW and/or TWE carry the Pro number 1/ X force pros for 2020?
TWE may, but until there is a new distributor in the US, TW will likely not carry the Pacific brand at all (and neither will any other US retailers).

If you see any Pacific products for sale in the US, its likely what stock they have remaining, and once its gone, its gone for good.

As I was looking at my cousins Yonex EZONE AI98, I couldn’t help but this it’s basically yonex’s version of the Fisher Magnetic pro 1/X Force Pro Mould. It’s a thinner beam in the throat that’s chunky at the top of the grip and the frame widens at you get towards the top exactly like a pro 1. Anyone else notice or think this?

it’s one of Yonex most popular, if not the most popular lines. It sells like hot cakes. Makes me even more bummed that Fischer wasnt more popular and appreciated. I truly think the Pro 1 moulds were ahead of their time.

Here is my latest Fischer addition got it during lockdown in April - never seen one in this color way before and it has no specs listed at all on the racquet - anybody know any info on this beauty?

I have had it strung with Alu rough in the mains
and Alu power in the crosses. Weighs in at 364g - it’s the heaviest Fischer I have (apart from the King-Size Compounds) and plays amazing!

Looks like the Fischer Vacuum Pro Classic 98. Great frame, like a slightly more powerful Head Pro Tour.
It's now being sold as the Pacific X Tour Pro 97.

Hi and thanks for the reply! Yeah I have a load Vac pros in Mid and Midsize. I’ve never had one with no specs listed on the frame.

Was really wondering what year it’s probably from and what the flex was and string tension recs like on all my other Fischers

I’ve also never had one this heavy - most of mine are all in the 327-333g weight range.

Now I AM jealous! Indeed probably the Pro Classic 98 mold. Always wondered how it played. Let us know.

By the way, someone should tell Pacific to re-release the little white Fischer dampener, AKA the dampeners GOAT. I would buy some for a lifetime as my current ones are starting to die, one after another.

But why? They are crap and ineffective and impossible to put on

I should be getting a Fischer Pro 1 Black Granite 320gm in a week or two. Looking forward to getting the new mould back so I can hit them Back to back (with 17G NRG2. I don’t do Poly boys).

I wish I had a super old Kafelnikov Pro 1 to compare. 320 gm or Especially the 330gm oh baby.

Nico it plays amazing I love it - hefty to serve with but plenty of pop and direction. I love my backhand serve return blocks with it [emoji41]

Nice sticks! However, we need better pictures my friend. Fischer frames are too sexy to be viewed through plastic.

Happy hitting!

Outta the plastic now I’m back off court. 338g on the Bluey/Pink fishnet paint job - it’s one of my faves !

- I also have the same paint job in Mid-size. The red elliptic has never been used it’s just had its first string job.

Factory strings cut out and full bed of Lux Alu rough in. I’m excited to use it sometime soon!

Edit to add the Elliptic weighs in at 330g

Lots of rainy showers this morning so I used the back pack today. I was playing on the local ‘council’ courts - divets and pot holes aplenty with no shelter! Super fun though and gave the Elliptic its debut runout ! I loved it !!

That "Bluey/Pink fishnet paint job" from a couple post above... Does anyone knows where it belongs in the timeline of that mold? Is it the same racquet as VT Pro/ Pro No1? Or is it just the same mold, but different layup?

I would recommend that anyone should try the new Pacific frames. They seem softer, better made than previous versions and of course the new grip system is better than pallets. Just my opinion of course.

Here we go then, courtesy of michael valek!

Some of the Tour Professional line with their 2020 (sexy) paint job. They did a great job, I really like the X Force Pro.

Now I wonder how they play. C'mon Pacific, update your website, innovation time!!

I got given one of these tonight from a good friend - he has a few of them and really likes them. I’ve been on at him for a while now to sell me one and he just gave me this one.

What year did they come out ?
I’ve never seen one for sale either.

I’m gonna get it re-strung as soon as possible! There’s a fair few scratches but that’s just part of the history of the racquet.

Edited to add that it’s the only Mid plus size Fischer I have where they have a Max recommended string tension of 70 lb / 32 kg

Nice.

That's the re-issue of the standard Pro Classic 98. Same mold, same specs but only the 320Gr version was released. Pallets included, that's maybe why I've never felt they were quite the same as the original Pro Classic, but it's by far the closest thing that you get. As far as I can remember, they're from 2007.

I have a pair of Retros that don't have pallets and have a slight different PJ, also with a different code inside their throat. They play absolutely brilliant and I think these two could be exact replicas of the original Fischer frame but I couldn't say if they are pro stock or something else, just a special edition for instance. I bought them in 2009 on the Bay, from the US.

And by the way, Fischer frames always prefer low tensions. ;)

Hello all,

Long time fan of Fischer here. Used the red and black pro number 1 320g frame. It broke the other day on me and had a lot of sentimental value from growing up playing tennis. Just trying to find out if anyone knows sources of where I may be able to find a replacement? :(

I have 3 of them. Better feeling version of the current X Tour 97. Unfortunately for me, I replaced the pallets with Pacific pallets, and sold/gave away the original pallets, so I doubt anyone would be interested in them.

Why don't you try the current Pacific version of the Pro N1? Yes it is lighter but you can customise it according your own specs.

Michael Valek says that the newest Pro N1 plays like butter, and I have to say that the mate PJ is really cool (see previous page).

If you really want the Fischer Pro N1, I'm sure you'll find plenty on the Bay.

By the way I have a NOS blue and yellow 330 gr Pro N1, circa 1995. It's superb and absolutely new. If anyone is interested I can let it go but it's a grip 4 5/8.
