Thats my personal experience.the raquet played muted and there was not this uniqe vibration when hitting the ball.
After 2 months tennis playing with Wilson Clash 100 Tour/Pro (310g unstrung weight) with 1.25/17 Volkl Cyclone on 23/24...I can only say - I need to do some urgent change now
Basically:
- I'm wasting too much power while e.g. serving and the outcome is 30% weaker serve than I had it with Yonex Ezone DR98.
- If I don't do everything perfect (and I usually don't since I'm 3.5-4.0 recreational tennis player) - the balls are going too often out of the court 1-5 meters i.e. I cannot keep 5 balls within the court.
Not good control and wasting too much power for nothing...
- My backhand needs much more control & spin - otherwise it is pure disaster now, with Yonex it was just fine.
Can someone recommend anything to do now e.g. instead of Volkl Cyclone 1.25/17 on 23/24 - I think perhaps some thinner choice e.g. 1.18/1.20 on 21/22 only could be a game changer since now I'm really disappointed basically, my tennis game went down 40-50% after switching from Yonex Ezone DR98 (310g unstrung weight) with 1.25/17 Volkl Cyclone on 23/24 to Wilson Clash 100 Tour/Pro (310g unstrung weight) with 1.25/17 Volkl Cyclone on 23/24.
The only positive thing is larger sweet spot - nothing else...although Wilson Clash 100 Tour/Pro (310g unstrung weight) seems as more concrete and powerful racket for baseline hits
