I’ll try and post some info later - if I’m correct it all started with the ‘Settanta’ line, then the MK2 line called ‘Salice’ if I remember correctly then his last collection named the ‘Terrinda’

I think he started to use Fila in 1974 (except Sweden, he cotracted with Jockey when played in his home country ), before he played in Slazenger as a part of his Slazenger racquet ( Challenge № 1 model ) contract.
Love to see all his track jackets as well.

Correction - he started to wear Fila in 1975, in 1974 he was with Slazenger.

mabye the most iconic tennis clothing ever...
if you played someone that wore it you felt intimidated..
people also used to wear it off the court too as a status symbol haha..

Yes I still wear most of my Borg inspired Fila off court nowadays. Growing up I used to marvel at all the older lads going to football matches dressed in Fila BJ and Sergio gear

What's the logo on these tops?

It’s a special ‘pro-badge’ style in collaboration of a company called 80s Casuals !

Borg is now again a brand ambassador for Fila but I believe that they can’t use the ‘BJ’ logo anymore as his first wife has the royalties or ownership of it. I may have that wrong but I’m sure it’s something along those lines ?!?!

You are deffo correct VS - I was thinking he wore the Red flash Diadora then because a few years back Diadora re-issued a limited run of 1976 pairs

1977 Wimbledon he wore the red diadora. He had different contracts depending on what market he was in which is unheard of. In the USA he was wearing Tretorn shoes.

Cool, a similar deal then to the Donnay/Bancroft racquet situation ?!

Same with the racket cosmetics as you may notice Donnay Allwoods, Borg Pros, and Bancroft Borg Personals.

I think in the beginning of contract with Fila Borg used their standart stuff and little later they made his own Bj series inside their White Line.

No ugly piece of plastic there my friend !

I don’t think the human mind can possibly imagine a finer piece of Kevlar/Graphite ‘mid-plus construction than this [emoji41]

Sorry, buddy. Haven't seen this pj of Vacuum. Should be a great racquet. Though i prefer Stich's 90 version.

I had the Borg Fila pinstripe shirts he wore for awhile but my favorite were the ones he wore a little later that were made of what I can only describe as a terry cloth type material. They were really comfortable.
Could you post some pictures please?
