Sudden populated seats in Rome with audiences without masks

Hi:

I am surprised to find a lot seats are filled with people In sf today. Some groups don’t wear masks at all. At another corner, a man behind Djokovic pulled masked down to expose his nose completely. I am surprised what took place in Rome and all of sudden player’s health is not a concern anymore. It’s on live broadcast now and how these pros can compete under such pressure.

If some fans are not wearing masks and not distancing, that will not affect the players health. The fans will spread amongst themselves.

Everyone on the court is properly masking and distancing.

Even the on-court help?

Bizarre.

Inconsistencies all over the place.

Okay, John.

I was watching highlights from the final and the stadium looked almost entirely full and I didn't see a single mask anywhere. This seems like insanity for a country that was hit as hard as Italy the first time around.
I was watching too and was surprised EVERYONE in the stands were wearing masks and over their noses! But no worries, the next BIG THING will be all the law-suits from TV lawyers against mask manufacturers and corps for forcing the planet to wear masks--but that's OK--there won't be any money left with the world-wide economic shut-down for any payouts unless u work for amazon. THE CURE WILL BE WORSE THEN THE DIS-EASE!

I went back and watched highlights again and paid very close attention and paused frequently to look at the crowd and...there was not a single mask, nor were there many empty seats.
Can you please link those highlights. I suspect those are not from 2020, judging by your description.

Lol my bad, yeah they were from last year - my phone suggested that video based on the fact that I've watched other highlight videos so I just assumed it was current and relevant. Also I somehow never realized that Schwartzman played Djoker last year, too. Sorry everyone.

5/10. This could have been a great troll thread, you just came out with this post too soon.

For grins I looked up "mask guidelines", from the top it says masks are required, then lists all the instances where they are NOT!--the very LAST rule it says if you keep social distancing of 6 feet they are NOT required--this stuff was written by lawyer-politicians! READ THE FINE PRINT! And with the police being defunded, who ya' gonna' call to enforce it? If u can't find a loophole in the "suggestions" like you're hard of hearing and need to read lips you're not trying.

I will follow Nanci Puglosi's rules--"I make the laws for thee but nor for me"--pass the frozen yogurt and blow me dry. And if I get caught I'll say that mother set me up and I'm running her out of town.
