Hydrogen Water

Has anyone here experimented with any of the various forms of Hydrogen Water? From what I understand it comes in cans, or you can make it using magnesium bars, tablets that you drop in the water, or machines that add hydrogen to the water (you pretty much have to drink the glass/can of water immediately after opening, or you lose the hydrogen). It sounds pretty out there, but I am still tempted to give it a try. Benefits are supposed to be removal of free radicals, increased energy and immune response, etc. Looking for input from anyone not trying to sell it, which is about all you can find searching in general populations.

The water I usually drink has twice as much Hydrogen as Oxygen. I avoid drinking any water that does not contain H.

Thanks for those links. So, the results so far range from something like “might have some therapeutic benefits, but we need bigger and better studies to be sure” to “total hooey”.

Maybe someone on these boards has tried it. We’ll see if I give in and do my own unscientific trial. If so, i’ll report back.

I like Heavy water. They seem to give me more energy than regular water. I can go longer

Studies prove that it works. But is this legal ? or is it PED ?

A study in ten male soccer players found that athletes who drank 51 ounces (1,500 ml) of hydrogen-enriched water experienced lower levels of blood lactate and decreased muscle fatigue after exercise compared to a placebo group (9Trusted Source).

Another small two-week study in eight male cyclists demonstrated that the men who consumed 68 ounces (2 liters) of hydrogen-enriched water daily had greater power output during sprinting exercises than those who drank regular water (10Trusted Source).

Mine contains 8 times more Oxygen than Hydrogen by weight but only 1/5 by volume.

Not following how or why LSD came into the discussion. Tried magic mushrooms for brief period nearly 40 years ago but was never tempted to try anything stronger like LSD.
