John Millman will be ready to face his main rival.only october, already getting ready for next slam. RAFA's record isn't safe,,, be afraid,,, RAFA,, Be very afraid
John Millman will be ready to face his main rival.
He is underestimating Fed's chances at AO...he must have forgot that Rafa has not beated Fed on HC in almost 7 yearsMillman ? What's millman got to do with this ?
2021 will most likely hisI hope the old man has one last run left in him. I don’t want Wimbledon 2019 to be his last hurrah.
I hope the old man has one last run left in him. I don’t want Wimbledon 2019 to be his last hurrah.
I don’t see anyone else beating him on grass besides Novak. If (big if) Novak loses early then I expect him to go full Vulturerer modeThere is nothing else Federer can do on hard courts and in best-of-5 sets, an explosive 'cocktail' for the 39-year-old.
His only (and last) chance to produce a great result in a tournament of these characteristics will be Wimbledon 2021, and even there, his chances will be very small.
Federer's level in 2021 won't be remotely close to what he showed in 2019.I don’t see anyone else beating him on grass besides Novak. If (big if) Novak loses early then I expect him to go full Vulturerer mode
@TheNachoMan Interesting and novel opinion. Let's examine who Fed has lost to at Wimbledon since 2010 aside from Djokovic:I don’t see anyone else beating him on grass besides Novak.
Well, it’s always possible. A big server like Raonic can always cause trouble. He’s not invincible like Rafa is at RG@TheNachoMan Interesting and novel opinion. Let's examine who Fed has lost to at Wimbledon since 2010 aside from Djokovic:
2010: Berdych (H2H 20-6)
2011: Tsonga (12-6)
2013: Stakhovksy (1-1)
2016: Raonic (11-3)
2018: Anderson (6-1)
If you take Roger's H2h against these 5 different guys, it's a staggering 50-17 in Roger's favor. Why do you think only Djokovic can defeat him at Wimbledon when all these pigeons managed to do it just in the last decade?
I wouldn't be so sure about thatI don’t see anyone else beating him on grass besides Novak. If (big if) Novak loses early then I expect him to go full Vulturerer mode
3-1 Nadal at AO. Bottom lineHe is underestimating Fed's chances at AO...he must have forgot that Rafa has not beated Fed on HC in almost 7 years
Have to agree plus he will struggle with no crowds as in recent years they definitely helped him at the Majors when he was tired. There is nothing else Federer can do on hard courts and in best-of-5 sets, an explosive 'cocktail' for the 39-year-old.

Milkman eats GOAT for breakfast...John Millman will be ready to face his main rival.
I'm not so sure about that. I think the crowd has put a ton of pressure on him to win. He might be totally relaxed with no crowd begging him to win.Have to agree plus he will struggle with no crowds as in recent years they definitely helped him at the Majors when he was tired.
Conversely, Nadal hasn't beaten Roger off clay since 2014 and Roger is 7-0 against him, including a win in the 2017 AO final.3-1 Nadal at AO. Bottom line
I hope the old man has one last run left in him. I don’t want Wimbledon 2019 to be his last hurrah.
You'll be watching his return just like everyone else.Funny if it is lols
This is exciting news. Next year after the AO and FO it will be 21-21-17.
Last run? You will be surprised !

6-0.Conversely, Nadal hasn't beaten Roger off clay since 2014 and Roger is 7-0 against him, including a win in the 2017 AO final.
He's back!
Does anyone have any links to the practice footage?
No way I am clicking on the tennisworld clickbait garbage, but very keen to see how Fed is hitting it.
Too early to predict anything at this stage, but have already seen someone mention a combined win of Australian Open plus an Olympic singles or doubles gold medal.
Federer is very dangerous, and we don't know what to expect.
Federer loves the support of the crowds, but so does Nadal. I thought Nadal was going to struggle playing without a huge crowd, but it may have actually helped him (@TheGhostOfAgassi made this analysis which turned out to be correct).
Maybe Fed will do a similar thing?
Why, are you hoping to see him get 40-15ed a second time?I hope the old man has one last run left in him. I don’t want Wimbledon 2019 to be his last hurrah.
Doesnt matter. 3-1 suggest all things being equal Nadal in that match up at that event is more likely to win . 75 per cent chance to win based on the numbers.Conversely, Nadal hasn't beaten Roger off clay since 2014 and Roger is 7-0 against him, including a win in the 2017 AO final.
He should play under a pseudonym in a Mexican lucha mask so the public doesn't know his real identityI'm not so sure about that. I think the crowd has put a ton of pressure on him to win. He might be totally relaxed with no crowd begging him to win.

Federer still has the strokes. He has to make up for his declined movement. Model his game around the serve and sharpen the return. Have an ultra aggressive game plan that can help him lift one more Wimbledon title. he needs to GOAT on serve next year to have a chance. Not entirely impossible. It's Federer we are talking about

I cross my fingers and hope it won't happen. He's back!

I took inspiration from post #5:
It won't happen - Fraud is already on wheel chair. Rafa' GOAThood pretty much sealed - it might annoy Fed devotees around but still....
I wonder why you pretend not to be a Fedfan.
Let's hope RF is fit, coz that would mean end of pandemic. Coz...only october, already getting ready for next slam. RAFA's record isn't safe,,, be afraid,,, RAFA,, Be very afraid

I hope for the best. How do you think Nadal will go at AO? If he were to win we are talking about a double career grand slam.
Did I forget to tell love you bro??I hope the old man has one last run left in him. I don’t want Wimbledon 2019 to be his last hurrah.
Nadal has won 2 HC Majors since then. Nadal if he plays Federer at any Major bar Wimbledon is an overwhelming favourite. Best of 5 sets is a different game to best of 3. In m1000 and 500 level Federer has a chance of course. But on clay and hard b05 i dont think he gets close to Nadal now. Especially what we saw from Nadal recently on his worse conditions given the low bounce etc.Doesn't matter? The most recent matchups are always the most relevant. Since that Australian Open bar Roland Garros he dropped just one set in their last four meetings.
