Cañas using a new experimental racquet?

I read in an article that Cañas is using a new Wilson model which is not available in the market yet (you can see in the photos it doesn't have any decoration yet, it's all black). He said he changed because his model is not produced anymore. He also said that it's similar but a little more powerful than the old one. Wilson gave him 6 racquets to use ans will send him 8 more.
Anyone has any information about this?

Well that clears that up - lol.

Guillermo Canes is playing with a strange racket black Wilson. “I changed recently, because the model that used not makes more. I proved them and I liked. ***** six and is going to me to bring eight more. This dismisses just a little bit more, but she is very, very similar to the other”, explained. As still the mark did not send them to the market, Canes play with a model without “decorating”, but with the logo painted in the cords.

I sure it is like the Wilson Surge frames but probably with the K-factor in it. It maybe extended lenght like the Surge plus he used to use. If it is more powerful, it maybe slightly more stiff. I wonder if it is good for serve and volleyers ?

That's funny. Google changes his name to "Canes"

As it's longer, I guess it's good to serve but not to volley.

Guillermo Cañas is playing with a strange black Wilson racquet. "I switched just a little while ago, cause the model I was using is not being manufactured anymore. I tried them and I liked them. I have 6 of them and they're sending me 8 more. It's a little more powerful, but it's very, very similar to the older one", he explained. Since the brand hasn't put them on the market yet, Cañas plays with a "non paintjob" model, but with the logo stenciled on the strings.

Something like that.

the racuqet he use to use was the 6.1 the red and black if you can rememebr, federer use to use that racquet too when he wasn't top yet. along iwth many touring pros. i remmeber that because he played the toronto final like...2000 or sumtin against andy roddick and canas beat him easily (very dissapppointed at the time cuzz i like roddick...but not anymore...ANYWAYS) he was using the 6.1 at the time.

thus, he's probably using the old racuqet, 6.1....or even the npro or whatever.

As some of you said, yes his racquet (now and before) is 18x20, the nPro Surge is 16x19, if you think a little it is impossible for someone like him to use the nPro Surge, he would make holes in the back fence.

I am sick about how the companies and the pros try to cheat all of us and it is our fault to let them do that and to not be smart enough to be able to tell that they don't use what we buy.

If you go to Wilson's web site you'll see in the K Six-One 95 that they put all the pros in the 16x18 model jajajaja anybody who can count will see all those pros use 18x20 model

Please people don't let them cheat on you!!!!!!!!!

I even wrote wilson about this but they never answered me.. of course they won't, they have no answer.

It's not only wilson, all the companies do the same, come on let's begin to be smarter and buy what we think is better for us, not what we see a pro uses.

Edit: I am not saying that asking what racquet a pro uses means that you want to buy that racquet or that you are a fool for asking it, I wonder my self a lot of times what racquet the pros use or how the set it up, it's just that this matter makes me go insane!!
