SHHHHHThe better question is will Nadal reach 400 weeks at #2?
Who are you losers?pancho will forever be the goat in our hearts
I think one thing that people have not commented on is that with several players just below the Big 3 (and it is really Big 2 now), they may split the points up among themselves and so it may be easier for Djokovic to maintain No. 1 than we think. He has mastery of all surfaces, including clay and each year can win points from all surfaces. I think he is a very real threat to win Wimbledon for the next 7 years (if he plays that long) since Federer will have retired and no one else to this points shows they can win consistently on grass. Tsitsipas may be a real possibility here. Add Wimbledon to AO points and he may be able to maintain the no. 1 longer. He is also a competitor as we saw last year when he played Vienna to guarantee his no. 1 at year end. So, he may play an extra tournament or two to maintain his ranking IF it does not interfere with his slam matches. No, don't think so. He said himself that he will reduce his schedule and not play as many tournaments thus not earning enough points to maintain that ranking, which is fine, he knows what his priorities are -- Grand Slam titles.
He got the record for weeks at #1 and YE#1 might come this year but that is it when it comes to chasing that number 1 spot. Focus is on slams and being undisputed GOAT.
Even if he doesn't care, he'll still be #1 if he wins tournaments.Nope. He pretty much doesn't care about the No 1 ranking now that he's broken Fed's record.
Nadal is already at 366 weeks, by far the most at #2 (Federer 218, Djokovic 144, Murray 78)The better question is will Nadal reach 400 weeks at #2?

Before the ATP ranking there was no official #1.What would a disputed number 1 be?
No. He said it's not his priority anymore. He had a chance though but he kept gifting so many free weeks to Bull and Murray. Also, Rona took 22 weeks off of him.

That would be so funny.Nadal is already at 366 weeks, by far the most at #2 (Federer 218, Djokovic 144, Murray 78)
Rafa would have to stay at #2 until October 18th, 2021 to reach 400 weeks
310.How many weeks as #1 does he have? Lew posted the question, but in the original comment he didn't even mention how many weeks as #1 does Djokovic have currently.
You look like that drunk legless ship captain from "Black Adder" comedy series.you wot mate

If he reaches 400, that's only few weeks less from 418 - with that number, he would be 2x greater no1 player than Rafa. Will Djokovic reach 400 weeks at #1?
400 weaks means 8 years. No one has ever been the undisputed number 1 for 8 years, not even before the Open Era.
Even if he doesn’t try to win every single event going, he’s still a lock for 2+ slams a year and other deep runs. He will likely win 2+ masters too which would be enough to stay as number 1.No. He said it's not his priority anymore. He had a chance though but he kept gifting so many free weeks to Bull and Murray. Also, Rona took 22 weeks off of him.
