He should get Borg before the next clay season.
Sampras is his teenage idol, but he never achieved better than Fed himself did. so Fed needs to find another great to motivate him.
Yea Borg can teach fed how to go bankrupt before his career is over with.
I think he should hire John Mcenroe, John had some real nice comments today during the match coverage. like fed should use the slice more and come in on short approaches to nadal's backhand. and Move in and take the returns early and block the returns back instead of trying to clobber it and so on and so on. Oh and Maybe John can teach him some of his bratty behavior as well and then maybe fed will be fun to watch.

Are you guys dumb or something?
Mirka's his coach. Everyone else acts as a consultant.
She needs to spank him for what he did in the FO final. Bad boy Roger.

I voted yes, but probably a psychology coach first.
Or perhaps a hypnotist, so if & when he plays Nadal, Federer thinks he's playing Blake or Roddick.
Just for comparison I re-watched Rome 2006 Fed v. Nadal
Federer played great...fh working, serve working, lots of net points...all was well until....he had 2 Championship points in the fifth game of set 5, and in the tie-break And he couldn't convert. After set five Madal was on fire and announced to Federer that he was going to win. and he did.
Nadal played the really big points better than Federer did, and the commentator said that Federer had no hope of winning RG 06 now.
Nadal is all about being in Federer's head, and the RG final was a mere shadow of the above match when Fed played his best clay game.
Every champion has a tormentor...and Nadal is Roger's. Psychological coaching is what he needs, but I'm not sure it would help. now. Too deeply lodged in his mind?
I'd like to see him get a clay court tactical coach. He has proven that he needs no coach on any other surface against any other player. However, he hasn't been able to topple Nadal on clay, except for Hamburg, although he comes closer than anyone else. I personally feel like Fed has the skills to do so, but just wasn't using the right tactics. He should have done more against Nadal's second serve, like crowding the service line, hitting some drop shots, chip and charge, just mix it up, but he was just too predictable. It was frustrating to watch. I think he could practice those things against lesser players in lesser tournaments, so that he would feel comfortable using them in big matches when it counted. McEnroe would be the ideal person to teach him those things.
