Cordial is like squash - add water and drink it. Haven’t used it as a mixer but now you mention it....I have never used the word cordial in this context. Is cordial synonymous with liqueur? Did you use it as a mixer?

I very much agree with your first two paragraphs. Well said.I don’t see a reason why women can’t have an equal voice in society and enjoy their sexuality while still embracing their feminine side and female nature. In fact, I think it is very healthy for a society to have a balance between male and female perspectives. Go to Copenhagen and you will see that the Danish women don’t look and act like men.
While cultural narratives channel and interpret much of human behavior, human biology can’t be superseded. Much of human behavior that seems complex can be better understood by thinking of our primitive ancestors living in small groups. This explains the in-group (us) versus out-group (them) dynamic often used in politics to divide people with fear and loathing. It explains defining people by hierarchies and tendencies to submit to authority. We are not actively aware of these drives, but they shape the narratives of our consciousness.
When it comes to sexuality, humans can’t escape the evolutionary drives that predate civilization and all our cultural narratives. Men want to spread their seed and women have to carry the baby. Women tend to be less innately promiscuous.. The pill and contraception have given humans more sexual freedom, but women cross-culturally tend to be more selective about who and how many to have sex with, and take one-night stands less lightly. Of course, there are individual variations and exceptions.
Anyway, that’s only how I see things.
