Someone clearly doesn't read the tennis media. "Elo" LMAO! :D all that effort and he lost #1 to Andy Murray

Yep, seems that he is gunning for 350-360 weeks at #1, which will equate a period of 7 years at the top of the men's tennis, as the best player in the world. That's crazy from the Earth Mightiest Warrior!!! o_O
The following statement is true: Djokovic has been the best tennis player in the world, longer than any other player in the open era o_O

He is better at more of tennis than any other player ever too

Poll is as about as conclusive as it can get. Nadal by a distance.
Closer to choose between federer and Nadal.

Nadal has more USO titles than Novak and leads the H2H in the event over him. Plus, Nadal is far more clutch in USO finals than Novak and thus a superior USO player. Djokovic is a choker in USO finals.

Nadal: 80% winning ratio in USO finals.
Djokovic: 37% winning ratio in USO finals.

So if Lebron James has reached the NBA Finals 10 times, and Michael Jordan has only been to 6. Does that mean Lebron is a better player then Jordan based on the number of times Lebron has been to the finals? Just curious

This is more of a 2020 edition. Anyways, it's Djokovic. Bulldal's 2017 and 2019 titles were nothing spectacular. Didn't he win one without beating a single top 20 player?

Nadal's difficulty in 2019 is at least on par with the Joker title in 2018, which was nothing spectacular. no matter where you look at it!
:p

Slams > weeks as #1.

Djokovic is the eternal #3 in the Slam count. Always has had less Slams than Fedal.
He's younger, so you need to adjust by age if you want to compare before their careers are over (once they are over then you can just look at the totals).

Quite clear that is Nadal, this is like asking who is the greater grass player between Novak and Andy.
Djokovic's clearly the better grass player, but Murray's up 2-0 in their Wimbledon matches. At least Nadal is up in his h2h here :giggle:

4 titles > 3 titles and with 2 of the titles beating Novak in the final, it's just clearly Nadal at the USO for now.

His best tennis comes on a manufactured HC... he's like perfect Cell, not Earth's mightiest...

Clay is considered Earth.... Nadal = real Earth mightiest warrior! o_Oo_Oo_O

The answer would be neither if they kept the old surface , watching Fed play there in 2006 the ball was supersonic now its a clay court disguised as a hard court
'Supersonic' is a gross exaggeration. Federer was the closest thing to a total amateur when the courts were fast in the '90s and early '00s.

Yeah Novak should just show up in New York when he's at his best to prevent those pesky finals losses on his resume.

He's done a lot. It takes effort to transform into an off-clay pigeon for not one but two GOATs.

Do whatever mental gymnastics you need to do to get ready for Fed to be in 3rd place after #21 8-B I know, I know, it seemed soooooo sure not long ago!:whistle: why did that stupid lady have to hold her finger up too soon?

I think we need to keep in mind that since 2011 when Djokovic completely turned around his game, both have 3 slams and a 1-1 H2H at US Open.

It's a very simple concept. Not only is it 2-1 it's also 4-3...

If Novak was better, it would be in his favour.

Whinge about 2017 all they want... Novak had the same p1ss easy draws as well such as 2016 with 3 retirements and 2014 where he got thumped by Nishikori.

Let's not forget last year's disqualification too....

Nadal beat Novak twice but one was against him as 1 time slam champ (2010), then he beat Anderson & Medvedev in laughable draws.

Novak beat Nadal, Federer and del Potro.

More finals, more semis, Novak.

I can guarantee you that tennis history doesn't care :D and LOL when Djokovic literally beat Anderson and Medvedev in slam finals  at least Danill actually showed up to play when Nadal played him.

It's basic math. 4 > 3. When it comes to who's better, that's different. But this topic has been played out. Why does it keep popping up over and over?

Write-in vote for Jimmy Connors, 5 titles on all three surfaces USO has been played on, still made the semis at age 39

2010 Nadal beats any version of Fed and djoker.

nadal>>>>>Fed/Djoker at the USO. Fed has been garbage at flushing since the mid 2000s losing to a HOST of bums and mugs. . Djoker's game just never really clicked on that surface outside of 2011 when he brought it all together. the surface just clicks better for nadal's game than it ever did nole's

Nadal won four US Open titles in the 2010s. That's as many US Opens as Pete Sampras won in the 90s.

I would put Nadal ahead of Djokovic at Roland Garros (obviously) and the US Open.

But Djokovic would be ahead of Nadal at the Australian Open and Wimbledon.
Wimbledon- Djokovic>>>Nadal
Aus open- Djokovic>>>>>>>> Nadal
Us open- Nadal>Djokovic
Rg- Nadal>>>>>>>>>>>>Djokovic
Overall- Nadal>>Djokovic
