Im definitely interested to know what food is like in the UK :)
Huge fan of rice, red meat, chicken, salads, broccoli, pasta, and casseroles lol.
Nowadays Butter chicken had became our virtual national dish, and the most astonishing thing about that is the fact that its not even a British originated dish, its a dish south asian immigrants brought with them, and my Brits jumped all over it.
We definitely have less variety of food than in USA, but ofcourse your favourite wings are everywhere

You should defo spend a bit more time this side of the pond once things have improved
Cuisine in London is about as diverse as it gets - extraordinary variety with influences from around Eurasia & Africa - guaranteed to get whatever you desire ;)

Trickier to pinpoint exactly what we can claim as "ours" but across the rest of the country there are a lot of regional favourites; think everyone knows about the usual ones (fish & chips, bangers & mash, shepherd's pie)
Others - Yorkshire pudding, steak & kidney pie.

You can still get this for breakfast of course!
