I think in their 57 matches only 7 times has the loser of the first set gone on to win the match, 3 times in their 16 matches in majors.

The last time was the 2014 RG final.

Actually IMO if Djokovic wants to win he needs to do it in 3 or 4 max. The longer it goes, the more confident Nadal gets. Djokovic has to come out firing first.

Not that I would ever bet against him, but Nadal's going to be in some serious trouble if this match goes 5. When's the last time he won a 5 setter?

His whole game since his 2018 injury has been very focused on ending points quicker and wrapping matches up asap to not be on court longer than he needs to be. If he gets into a 4+ hour slugfest with Djokovic, he's going to have to dig down deeper than he has in a long time.
