Of course. She's angered a certain part of the tennis "fanbase" with her ever-relevant sociopolitical stands and was not their stereotyping fantasy of the "demure little Japanese girl", and since she stood up for justice (and asserted her belief that she's not obligated to talk to the media if she has a personal issue and/or problem with said media), an ocean of hate and judging everything she does has come her way.
Didn't Borg do that one time, shortly before retiring? I don't think this is the end of the match here though, looks like the score is just becoming 6-5
