A day match between Kei and Djokovic at the US Open, it brings back memories...
Yes exactly. I would give Shapo a 50% chance of beating Zed and facing Novak in the SF.Shapovalov in the QF's would be a possibility.
And play much, much better if he wants to win this tournament..Kei just overall was better, deserved it. Novak will need to play better if he wants to turn it around.
Don't forget sad.The Nadal-Soderling match is nowhere close to this. Nishi isn't even playing that well - and won the set because Novak was at his E- game.
Soderling in 2009 R4 vs Nadal played one of the best clay matches ever seen. Yes, Nadal was injured, but even then Soderling played an absolute blinder. Masterclass of aggression, dominance and even movement/defense.
Should Nishikori win here after only getting 2 games at the Olympics it would be the equivalent of Soderling beating Nadal at RG after winning just 1 game a few weeks before.
The poll is still open, what should I vote?Almost 60% of people voting in this match poll so far were wrong.
It has been a while since I have seen Kei play like this (especially against Djokovic).
Clean hitting from both wings.
I don’t know. I am always right in polls, but I wait for the matches to finish. The poll is still open, what should I vote?
I couldn't seriously see Joker losing the first set against Nishi either.Yes exactly. I would give Shapo a 50% chance of beating Zed and facing Novak in the SF.
However my point was that Med will definitely make the Final.
I mean can you seriously see Med losing to anyone in the next 3 matches?
Watch out for Novak ANGER in set 2. When he loses a set, he will come out like a wounded loin. Likely 2-3 breaks.
Djokovic in 3 ofcThe poll is still open, what should I vote?
I want Novak to win and voted for Kei in 4 before the match even started... Hoped for the reverse jinx...The poll is still open, what should I vote?
Unfortunately, I think Nishi is the one with the greatest chances to do that, which are very low regardless.Novak will surely win, Nishi can't be the one to stop him from CYGS
Djoker hitting his FH a lot harder than in the first set.
ball in a cupA ball in a glass.
Time flies...I remember that day perfectly and it was 7 years ago.A day match between Kei and Djokovic at the US Open, it brings back memories...
I think it’s nothing personal with you.Djokovic why are you doing this to me?
Imagine being MedvedevTiafoe, Fritz, Raonic, Zverev, Musetti, Berrettini, Nadal, Tsitsipas, Draper, Rune and Nishikori have all taken sets off Djokovic on this CYGS run.
