Lol your common sense comment says you are a little broken hearted which prob doesnt take much
Fritz and Karat where playing well with more competitive time on the court of recent than Nole.
You lack a certain amount of neurons to thing consecutive 5 set matches as a droner
will not affect anyone later in the tournament. How many players have beaten Nadal
only to be mentally fried for their next match? even my 9 year old knows this.
Remember the past 5 setters of the greats does not change the fact this is a different game
in homogenized conditions at a level those past greats wouldnt even make the qualies.
Look at BrooksB he is still pushing Nole very well but previous long matches are telling
---Just to add, BrooksB is 6 foot 4 and recovery has never been kind to bigger bodied players
Not brokenhearted at all mate, I think you're taking this more personally than you should be, especially with that "lacking neurons" zinger which represents a complete lack of basic understanding of biology...
It's not just "greats" who've withstood consecutive 5 setters so that point is completely void...
You've also made assumptions for no reason about how players from the past would fare today. It can easily be argued the other way around and either way this is untestable and therefore irrelevant so you have no point once again...
Fritz and Karatsev still played much shorter points so that point doesn't stand either...
Jenson won 5 games in the second half (1.5 hrs) of the match, so you're wrong again here...
Nadal at RG is an exception in every sense so again your point here doesn't exist yet again...
And the height excuse is just an excuse, it doesn't make the fact that he's less physically fit any less true which was the original point. Your point again goes out the window...
So basically you haven't made any meaningful or correct points for me to discuss. Therefore I see no reason to continue this discussion since it seems literally every other person in this thread has said how poor Brooksby's endurance is and it's especially tiring to see 20 year olds be less fit physically than 34 year olds again and again.
Please don't respond to this bc there's really no point continuing this "discussion"...
