Everyone expecting Novak vs. Med final when we end up with Opelka vs. Tiafoe and will be chaotic cause AMERICUH!!!
Hmm, very interesting. FAA had that streak broken earlier this year when Sinner passed him, but I never realized that Shapo had his own streak going as well. Pretty sure nobody younger has passed him in the rankings before.Has Shapovalov EVER had anyone ranked ahead of him that was younger than him? The reason I'm asking is because a win here, then a win over Alcaraz, FAA moves ahead of Shapovalov in the rankings for the first time. Might be the first time anyone younger than him is ranked ahead of him in his career.
Wait, I take that back. FAA has been ahead of him.Has Shapovalov EVER had anyone ranked ahead of him that was younger than him? Probably has to be early to mid oughts.FAA vs Alcaraz in QF. When was the last time we had a quarterfinals this young?
This is what I have been saying all tournament long: even if one of the 3 guys wins (ND, DM or AZ) next Sunday this is still a transition tournament - the big 3 era is winding down and the new generation is taking over. They will start winning grand slams and making deeper runs in the meantime. This is an exciting time for men's tennis!FAA vs Alcaraz in QF. When was the last time we had a quarterfinals this young?
Perfect conditions for Zverev. Want Zverev and Djoker to win their matches in as little time as possible to set up a big clash for the semis.Another day in the books, looks like Sinner-Zverev starts at high noon eastern tomorrow. Looking forward to it!!
I agree this is a transition tournament. Particularly as Djokovic is focused on the slams and not winning events much of at all outside of them. There has been a gradual shift outside of the slams for a while and now it’s getting stronger in the slams. This is what I have been saying all tournament long: even if one of the 3 guys wins (ND, DM or AZ) next Sunday this is still a transition tournament - the big 3 era is winding down and the new generation is taking over. So, in a theoretical Novak - Medvedev final, who does the NY crowd go for?

The media darlings adore him ): I think many people dislike him in the real world.Aside from this forum, does anyone actually like Novak?

I work at a tennis center and teach lessons with almost a dozen people, and I don't know anyone who works there who likes Djokovic.
I saw it listed as being on ESPN app.Doubles not getting any love ? ESPN not showing it
I am fairly certain that the semis are at 3 p.m. EST and 7 p.m. EST tomorrow, and the final is on Sunday at 4 p.m. EST. If anybody has different information let us all know but that is what I saw when I looked up the t.v. schedule for the matches online.I'm lost. What's the schedule for SF and F?

Djokovic fans say it does, but I don't think so. Zverev is ready. Djokovic fans say whatever they need to in order for their player to be the one who will likely win. Zverev has been the better player the last several months, he is ready for this match. So Friday 21:00/01:00 SF and Sunday 22:00 F in central Europe (Berlin, Bern etc.)?
Does the late match favor Djokovic?

It would be great if they would show these matches on Tennis Channel while ESPN is showing the other matches. Which country is Rincon from?Anyone is interested in Boys' singles?
There will be a huge battle here between Juncheng, Rincon and Kym. 3 names we may see on the ATP Tour very soon.
