I am with you, but contrast of styles is important too for me.
I love Fedovic or Fedal more than Djokodal specifically because of that. Always thought a Thiem vs Medvedev match at their very best could bring some of the best possible rallies. It hasn't happened at that level yet. But I hope one day deep in slams that happens.

I don't know what Z's team was thinking ? Why was Z playing defensively in set 3? The guy can properly outplay Djokovic if he plays aggressively. He becomes really hard to beat, because he is not only hitting hard, he can outdefend you as well and his serve is protected by a big 1st serve.

You continue to fail to account for the difference in quality aka difficulty to execute and counter. I mean you literally choose to prefer the lesser product and are upfront about it lel.
Full-on s&v as on old grass isn't that fun due to lack of variety but that's the beauty of the old tour, it has everything from slow clay to medium hard to slick grass and the play was significantly different depending on conditions. Out of old-school matches I prefer most the hardcourt s&v vs baseliner battles such as McEnroe-Borg and Lendl-Edberg. Peak variety with ATG quality, what's not to love?
