Yeah this thread was a bit of a joke. he's the one with the potential to become the most dominating force on tour for a little while, given his huge first serve, movement, and backhand. Problem is the mentality, which is very hard to fix. I do hope he gets there though.

He needs to stay aggressive all the time. But when the pressure holds, he starts to play game of a player 30 cms shorter than him, pushing.

Zverev is significantly more talented than Djokovic, plus he's got incredible reach and moves great for a player so tall.
Pity he lost to Thiem in that US Open Final, he'd be in a much better place mentally now.

Its not just mental. His forehand is a mediocre shot, the guy can’t volley to save his life and his tennis IQ is pretty average. On his day he may overpower others and go on a hot streak, but he’ll never be a great player. And in addition to this, he’s mentally way too fragile. Still no Top 10 wins in slams.

Tsitsipas plays attractive tennis
Medvedev plays interesting unorthodox innovative tennis (returns 5 meters behind the baseline, plays many meters behind the baseline but with very flat shots, not like clay courters, somehow is able to do that consistently, is 2 meters tall but moves as well as Schwartzman, strange looking groundstrokes that are nevertheless mechanically sound etc)
Zverev plays boring tennis, he is like the Wozniaki of men tennis, he doesn't do enough during rallies

I always root for Mischa.
I don't like him and can't support him based in what he did to Lloyd Harris in the qf. Raised an issue he had been complaining about for the whole set at great length when Lloyd was about to serve for set point. It didn't have to be then- it was pure gamesmanship to stop Lloyd getting the set. I don't believe any of the big 3 would have done that at any point in their careers. Kyrgios gets so much stick but I've never seen him do something as bad to the other player as that and that's saying something frankly. It's going to put me off for a good while.
