Djokovic has aged incredibly well in terms of physical appearance

It's not just about the hair. It's the boyish features, a smooth skin and a general image of youth some people radiate, Djokovic included. I am bald since I was 23 and now with 44 and my shaven skull just about nobody thinks I am older than 35-36.

Novak, when clean-shaven, looks about 10 years younger than Nadal.

Fed looks about 45. Nadal looks 50.

Novak looks early 30s I'd say. But that's great because pro athletes tend to age faster due to the demand until they hit about 45 and then they maintain well to 60.

Tennis players in general though age quite well under pro level. The amount of guys mid 40s to 50 I met that could easily pass for 35.

Fed has had injuries. He'll look about the same he does now a decade from. I think Nadal barring plastic will look terrible by 45.

Meh, he has aged about as well as the average 34-year-old is expected to. Fast-forward another two decades and see if you're still singing the same tune.

If you want a better example of an ATP player aging gracefully look instead to/at Stich:

Had never understood what the ladies saw in him until I came across that pic. Stunning, really.

On the WTA side there's of course Gabby:

The (semi-)chandelier locks flatter or at least help conceal her square jawline, and that LBD was a killer. Dunno what she does with her skin (I'm guessing she's one of those naturals) but she's obviously taken good care of it (from her 2015 exo at MSG with Seles, presumably):

You're welcome.

In terms of hair I am impressed on how Novak has maintained his hair, in this modern day when Athletes are full of testosterone, hair loss is so common

Hair is everything for a sportsperson, the hair loss is so less, that is stunning and exceptional

@NonP - Till early-mid 2010s I used to believe that Roger is the guy who is looking so great in 30s, as if he has stopped ageing

But Novak seems to have followed Fed/bettered him in that department as well

Shocking, but it seems like God has sent Novak perfect 6 years below Fed to do everything Fed does with perfect replication ..... the hair is an additional feather in the cap :D

Getting old is getting wiser. On the other hand, Djokovic looks like he doesn't get older and doesn't get wiser... He looks angrier and angrier on court. Pepeology didn't seem to help to calm his emotion.

I have to say that the guy looks very much the same at 34 as he did at 17. Never had an issue with acne like Fed and Nadal did earlier in life. His skin is incredibly smooth and healthy. Still has a full head hair (looks like black bear fur, a couple grey hairs but this doesn't matter for men). Both Nadal and Federer lost a good 1/3rd to 1/2th of their hair by their mid-30s (Fed's was more like hairline recession and easier to cover up with headband, where Nadal's was more like diffuse thinning on the entire top). So did Sampras, McEnroe, Roddick, of course Agassi, have noticeable hair loss by the time they reached 30. Nadal looks a ton different than he did when he was half his age. The sun exposure gave him a lot of wrinkles and freckles and uneven skin tone, and his face got fatter which detracts from his high cheek bones. Federer's nose grew (it's a sad fact of life that noses and ears never stop growing). Djokovic was blessed with Serbian genetics and has an obsessively healthy diet and fitness routine which is doing wonders for him. Sure, everyone gets older, but Novak is one of the fortunate ones who only looks about 1% older each year.

GOATs don't age.
Novak defies numbers. Blessed with amazing genes. The guy looks like he's in his 20s.

Djokovic hasn't lost hair. He has also stayed very slim (possibly even losing weight deliberately as he got older). This has made his face look almost unchanged over the years (normally as you age, even if you don't gain overall weight, your face gets meatier). These two factors are the key to his youthful appearance. Maybe he uses some moisturizer / sunblock to reduce sun damage to his skin, who knows. And he is always clean shaven and has a very short hairuct which further contributes to his youthful look. It's as simple as that.

Nadal clearly has sun damage to his skin. He's also put on weight in his face. And he's lost hair.

Federer has lost hair and he has an older, more mature looking haircut. Every so often he goes for that weird lumberjack bearded look which also makes him look older. And even though he is slim by everyday standards, by pro tennis standards he is probably a bit above average in terms of bulkiness (likely due to his deliberate attempt to be a more aggressive, first strike player versus Djokovic's I get to every ball strategy). This slight bulkiness also contributes to looking older.

DHT levels in his body must be very less
Surprising, how is doing it ?

Just diet is not enough I guess

I have read that stretching works . Elastic body remains in good shape for years .

Djokovic does stretching for hours everyday . And other exercises would be enough to keep him fit .

Being nimble footed and light-frame works for him.
Maybe we haven't seen him carrying even 10 grams of extra fat for last 11 years now ,starting from 2011 .
When was the last time he looked a bit heavy ?

I think Djoker dyes the greys on his head because I swear you could spot flecks of grey hairs during close ups at the australian open like 3 years ago, and I couldn't spot any during changeover close ups this whole year, but maybe I wasn't looking close enough.

He has made a pact with the Devil and retains his youthful looks whilst hidden upstairs in his attic his portrait ages daily and shows him as he really is: an aged, hideous, Covid-raddled monstrosity.

I think Federer looks better now than when he was in his 20s
He is an attractive 40 years old man, but he wasn't an attractive 23 years old man.

Fed was gawky and goofy looking in his early years but underwent a complete makeover once he began to become a world-famous brand name.
