Amazing fighin sprit 2 matches in a rioe. Good movement and above all very steady smart shot selection. In the past he would go for winners left and right when in a jam now he works himself into a better position gradually and wisely.

Wow, things really aligning for Grigor in California right now. Not hard to imagine him lifting the trophy with Norrie and Basiliashvili/Fritz in his way.

He indeed laps the remaining trio in significant titles and depth of penetration in slam draws. Basil and Norrie have him on 2021 accomplishments with two and one titles respectively. The form, if it holds after two long matches, is strong. I’m hoping he breaks his slow start trend. Norrie is a good front runner.

Norrie is probably the toughest opponent left for him. IMO

I don’t often rely on common opponent results unless the matches were played recently:

Dimi made Ruud earn every point in his 3-set loss in SD.

Ruud annihilated Norrie 0&2.

I might not expect such a runaway victory as Ruud’s but I feel Grigolo’s chances are good vs Norrie.

In a final, a grooved Basilashvili would be very dangerous. He’s a locomotive right now.

Baby Fed to shock the world, win the USO 2023 to fulfill his destiny!

I fully expect early 00s type veteran victories in the near future. Dimitrov's problem is stringing together consecutive performances so he needs a draw to pan out with some freebie opponents.

But I mean even just this year he's certainly shown high potential and really should have beat Rune at Wimbledon.
