Slipped out of my hand today hitting a serve. Whose fault is it? the piece of crap gamma pro that is all tacky and shiny but the minute your hand sweats you are screwed. Anyway i essentially spiked the racket on the ground after hitting a big serve and pronating. It cracked right above the cortex completely around it. Bought it at an authorized place (tossed the receipt but have the bank statement showing $210 spent). Will i have any problems getting a new one? Had it for less than a month!!! Who wants to see a picture?!?

Sorry about your racquet. I had the same thing happened to me with my PDC+ and it broke at 11 and 1. My overgrip was a Babolat Syntec. Damn.

Sorry about your lost. It seems that the Cortex did it job by blocking the shock before it reaches the grip. The fact that this causes a area of high stress on the frame, means that barring a slip from a players hand they should breakdown nicely around that area in a couple of years.

Busted my 3rd N90 this year today, so far I have busted them at 11' 9' and 7' o'clock. Never in my life busted one in the handle. Maybe something to do with the box beam/solid racquet? I dunno.

if you paid with a debit card you can probably go to wherever you bought the racquet and they can pull a copy of the receipt for you. When i had a prince racquet crack after an overhead i was able to get the store to do that for me. Look on your bank statement and find out the date and they should be able to do it no problem, provided they keep semi-decent records.

My friends from Babolat in Bolivia don't give you anything back. What I did is give the broken racquet to my ball-boy and his father fixed the racquet for him and he won the Bolivian under 10 championship with it. Cool ha?

Wow, everyone seems to be breaking their Babolats off serves and stuff. My friend broke 2 out of his three PD originals.

With 5 mega and 5x zoom..it should be better. I have the sd630...pretty sweet camera. Oh, sorry for your loss.
It's even easier for me ... I dabble in photography and have a little program called "Opanda IExif". I can right click on most photos on the web and view "exif" information (embedded info).

I've returned two of my PD/C to Babolat. Got two brand new ones back. If I were you I'd go to your authorized dealer and ask for their Babolat rep and whatever. Then see if they'll send it back for you.
