  • Nadal will still win the Cincinati despite what has happened as of 16/8! I believe!

 Had to go with the Nadal choice. That was hilarious. With the joker out, and Nadal out, the only good players left are all players Federer OWNS(ie Hewitt) so I don't think there's much chance.

Hewitt has an outside shot. So I voted 25%. He has more chance then whoever he would/probably will play in the final has, including Roddick.

Looking at what's left of the draw, Fed could probably sleepwalk to the title. As long as he sleepwalks and not just lies down sleeping. :p

Don't forget Baghdatis !

Anyway, I wish Hewitt wins the tourney, he'll get a confidence boost for the US Open !

Fed seemed lackluster yesterday, I'd go with 25%.

nobody thought that Canas could beat him (twice!!), and he did so imo everybody got a chance if fed has a bad day

Looking at the players in Federer's half of the draw I'd say it's highly unlikely that he won't be in the final, and depending on who he plays there, it's also unlikely that he won't win the title. But upsets happen so we'll just have to wait and see.

Nothing in Tennis is 100% (except a British winner of Wimbledon in the next 20 years), so I went for the next level down.

These days he seems to get stunned more than usual, and he did get stunned by Murray at this stage last year. He must be feeling tired after Montréal, while Baghdatis will be quite fresh, it will be an interesting match.

I am sure he has to beat him some time in his career. I am not sure it willbe before senior tour though.

i was doing some thinking, and i think fed may have tanked that match against murray. every year that he won montreal he lost in cincy, quote early in the tournament actually. however, in 2005 he didnt win montreal, i believe he didnt even play, and, what a surprise, he won cincy that year. hence, i think federer only wants to win one of these two masters events, and since he lost montreal, he'll probably put effort into winning cincy this year.

Apparently did not happen, but came very close to happening with Hewitt. Almagro and Baghdatis were no cakewalk either. Interesting poll as it turned out.

Federer was very lucky to beat Hewitt. He didnt really deserve to win the match you have to say. Oh well, he lost to Canas in a match at the Nasdaq he probably deserved to win, and probably the Canada final to Djokovic since even though he was off and Djokovic was on the way the points went Federer should probably have won in straights. Things even out for him like they do most players. Except for Hewitt who seemingly has only been unlucky this year.

i voted 25% because i think there are always players that have a chance against Federer. Hewitt was very close in Cincy, Djokovic took him out in Montreal, Nadal has beaten him a few times this year. So i think there are a few players that could upset him at the US Open. I would have mentioned Canas because of his two wins against Federer in Indian Wells and Miami but he hasnt been playing very well lately.

There isn't a chance. He is playing better and better since his break after Wimby. He probably won't even drop a set until the final.
