Playing tennis with baseballs and baseball bats?

Has anyone else seen the commercial on ESPN during the Little League World Series in which two guys are playing on a tennis court but instead of racquets and tennis balls they're using baseball bats and a baseball? They take full swings with their baseball bats and slam the baseball back and forth over the net at each other with no bounce. One guy even takes a short ball and attacks the net to try and put away the "volley". It's funny as heck!

So people that think a 90 sq. in., 12.5 oz. racquet is too small and heavy should watch this commercial and see what can be done with a 4 sq. in., 32 oz. baseball bat. ;) LOL

Yes, that looks like the one but I thought the one in the commercial was slightly different somehow. Anyway, it turns out it's a commercial for Frosted Flakes of all things.

BTW, I like how it says "Do not attempt" at the bottom of the screen. I'm sure a lot of idiots will bring their baseball bats to the tennis courts to try and do this and get their teeth knocked out.

Ive seen this commercial about 100 times now. They show it pretty much every break. Yes i do believe hitting with a baseball bat would be much easier then hitting with a 90 sq inch racket that weights 12.5 oz.

looked a little too fake for me to really like it. but it was pretty good. others i know really like it, especially if they don't play tennis, which suprises me a little.

OK, then next time you play a tennis tournament please leave your racquets at home and only bring a baseball bat and let's see how you do. ;)

My dear Noveson,

You may not describe me as "an American thing". I might just think of putting Scotland Yard on your scent and Inspector Lestrade will be happy to round you up.

Sherlock Holmes is a character in a book by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle written in the late 1800's I do believe. Doyle was Scottish the books were set in London.
