Prescription Glasses for tennis

I have bad eyesight and need to wear glasses. Been looking at glasses I can wear to play tennis in, my prescription is quite high therefore will need full frame glasses. Any recommendations?

I am like you (super nearsighted and some astigmatism), but if at all medically possible, use contact lenses, the peripheral vision gain is a big deal

Same boat. ROKA is great, all their frames are meant for sports and activity. Not super expensive either. I bought 1, then bought sunglasses soon after as well.

Yeah I also have ROKA glasses and they work great. Best to find them when they are doing a sale as they can be quite a bit cheaper. I also have a regular pair and then a pair of sunglasses. It's a bit odd to get used to wearing them if you haven't worn glasses while playing before. ROKA are made for sports but I've also tried my regular glasses and they worked fine also, and I've played with and against a number of people who just wear regular glasses.

Oakley Chamfer MNP and Litebeam is good for me.

Noy too curvy (quite flat) so will not have distortion. Plus, they have 3 nosepad, so you can tune in the fit.

I use daily disposable contact lenses - they work tremendously well - but you have to find a brand & model that workds for you - I could only adapt well to top of line "Total 1"

OTOH, because I don't use them all day and only during my tennis outings, I can wear them 3 times...

OTOH I found I simply cannot even hit the ball on serves anymore if playing wearing glasses...

+1 on ROKA. I've been using them for a year and they are great.

I've been through a pair of Oakley Flak Jacket and now use a pair of Racing Jacket. I strongly advise you to use contacts instead of glasses if you can, as the curvature of the lens can distort vision a bit. I personally cannot, which is why I use sports glasses instead.

I choose Zenni. Plenty of choices, prices are pretty much unbeatable. No requirement for a recent prescription but you do need to type in a prescription. Yeah, contacts are great if you can wear them, but if you can't....

I have a pair of these in clear and tinted.

I also like these quite a bit: https://www.zennioptical.com/p/plastic-rectangle-eyeglass-frames/6406?skuId=640621

Just use sports strap that wrap the temple.

Anyway.....I use Oakley Chamfer MNP for tennis and MTB and no problem so far. And thats without the sports strap

I agree w the contacts.

I tried using rx Oakley glasses (can't remember which model) and my vision was distorted every time I moved my head or looked to the side. Framed a bunch of shots, especially volleys. My regular rx glasses had the same effect, too.

Moved to contacts and never looked back. They are monovision so there was an adjustment period that was awkward, but i save on sunglasses now

I had them make a pair that are oriented for distance viewing and wear those in some nike frames for sports. My everything else glasses are progressives. My buddy wears his progressives for tennis but I don't think I could do that at this point.

I also use a pair of clear Zenni frames, regular lenses. They stay in place when I wear a bandana indoors and with a visor outside.
