which dvd to buy?

so I'm definitely going to buy the transformers dvd this week while its still on sale on the first week its out. i already decided that i want a special edition but can't decided. there is a 2 disc special edition i originally planned to get http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=7763030
but then this showed up at walmart which includes a special "prequel" to the movie http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=7789273
but then target has a special edition for the first time with the case transforming into an optimus prime 15" tall. and i figured that only target has the optimus prime changing one while the outside case looks just like walmart's 2 disc special edition i guess target has the same thing but with the optimus inside

well target only has a special edition with the transforming optimus. the one at walmart is the same just without the transforming optimus. but then there is another one at walmart that has a 'prequel' and i don't know if the special edition has it. tsk tsk, don't know what to do

well i decided to go with the target special edition. and its pretty cool. just went out and got it cause tonight is the last night its on sale. and its pretty sweet

How old are you? This movie is for kids. Just buy all 3 versions and sell the two you don't like.

how old am i does that really matter? this movie is for whoever likes it. don't hate. and im 17. not gonna waste my 70 bucks and sell the other 2 and end up losing like 40 dollars

I wouldn't but any of the three options. Go ahead and boo away Transies, I thought the movie sucked and I am a little burnt at the lost two hours of my life that I will..never...get.....BACK!!!

i'm sorry you feel that way. that just proves that a movie isn't for everyone and appeals to certain audiences. but to me it was one of the greats

Dont buy any of them, not because the movie sucks, which it certainly doesnt, but to get the HD DVD version. It looks so awesome.

yea i know, i just don't wanna dish out the money to get an HD DVD player. my friend told me his dad bought an HD DVD player so he could get the transformers version of it. i was pretty jealous

Personally I would go for the one with the prequel. I always find the special features disappointing and unless you're a collector of figures the figurine is of limted value.

But then I don't know much about the transformer film.
