I was at a tournament this weekend and saw a 10 year old girl playing singles and doubles with a racquet that had multiple different colors of strings...i was playing so i couldn't get a picture but it was a plaid color layout of red green and black...anyone seen something like this before...

oh and would anyone think it's weird if a 10 year old girl was using a prince NXG tour mid as well??? i couldn't believe my eyes when i asked her mother and she told it was the NXG tour mid. but hey she said she loves it...i just thought it was kinda odd

and if the girl likes playing with that racket its not odd... its probably the racket she feels most comfortable playing

Well I think it is unusual that a 10 year old girl is using a 12.3 oz midsize racquet. I have not seen that before. I don't know of any adult women using a similar racquet. I am sure they are out there, I just haven't seen it.

same...most of the girls in the higher age groups weren't even using racquets like that. the o3 white, red, and pure drive were the most widely used. and even the most robust players racquet i saw for the guys was the speedport tour

That is freaky. A 10 year old girl using a 12.3 oz midsize racquet. What is the world coming to. Next there will be toddlers using midsizes.

It could be a PSG Original rainbow colored string too. A girl in a nearby high school was playing in our local courts, and I asked her if I can see her racquet. The lettering was very faint, but I could make out Prince Synthetic. She said her dad strung her racquet with those strings a long time ago.

I've got a frame out in the garage with the rainbow string in it. I strung it up over 15 years ago, and it could be the PSG - I can't really remember.

Velocity makes a rainbow synthetic gut. I haven't seen a Prince rainbow for many, many years. You can still get the Velocity though.

Ahhh.... If only tennis had stayed that way. Now we have ultra light racquets... The game has evolved and power is dominating (for the most part). My bad on the racquets.

Prince Prism. Wonder how it hits? I'm not going to find out.

Its called Prince Prism. I have it on an old Kennex Copper Ace that I played with as a junior. Just a basic synthetic in rainbow colours. Now discontinued.

Kilpper and Prince use the same manufacturer.

That may be, but the club/shop I strung at back then didn't stock Klipper. So there...:p

Okay - you made me go out and find my old frames - did I mention there were two? Anyway, it wasn't Prince (or Klipper :p ). Instead - does Babolat VF Fun 125 sound familiar to anyone? Strung up Aug 89.

Take into consideration that neons were popular colors back then - Agassi helped encourage this, if I recall correctly. Anyway, one frame has neon green/neon pink rainbow and the other frame has neon pink/neon orange rainbow.
