i got one last year but haven't had much time to get to it. recently bought Red Steel on clearance at Target for $21 plus tax. thinking about buying table tennis soon for it too. but just telling people with some about the free wii-controller jacket. go to www.wii.com, and then choose which ever country you are in. about 1/2 way down the page is a box that says "Wii Remote Jacket Accessory Offer". click on it and follow instructions. you just enter your serial number and get up to 4 free jackets sent to your place. for FREE! my friend just got some at his house. just ordered mine!

Yeah I ordered four (even though i have 2 controllers) a couple weeks ago, the thing that sucks is they are way behind in production and swamped with orders so we won't see them for a while. It's awesome that they are free though.

Currently for the Wii I have Sports, Metroid Prime 3 (awesome btw), Madden 07 gamecube disk (backwards compatibility) and about 3 games on the virtual console including Super Mario World 3, one of the best games ever created for any system.

My next game will be Super Mario Galaxy, which I will probably get around Christmas. This game is a must buy! the gameplay is exceptional and the graphic designs rock. It got great reviews around the net.

I am known as the "Wii Master" of these here forums.

I have played nearly every single Wii game released, and have owned more than half of them.

I plan to be the #1 Super Smash Brawler in the world when it is released on Feb. 10, 2008. Fear me.

Yes, the Wii jacket accessory offer is okay, but I prefer to play without the "bulky" tack jacket.

And Red Steel is one of the worst Wii games I have played. Worst launch title clearly. You will see why.

Rockstar Table Tennis is decent, the 360 version is better, but it is still decent. It sometimes lacks responsiveness, but there is much better variety than Wii Sports tennis or Wii Play Ping Pong. A cool simple ping pong game can be unlocked in Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games. You can hit slices, power shots, and even "special attacks." It's pretty cool.

NiGHTS also is promising.

PS to dude above me : Galaxy is pretty awesome, but I was disappointed with the reward after beating the game twice......it was lame.

i see so in table tennis you can hit all those types of shots? seems interesting to me. i don't mind red steel as it didn't cost much.

and doesn't super smash brothers brawl come out in december?

Combine your knowledge of your particular tastes and preferences with linked content and scores here (All time high on the right is helpful)

abenguyen: SSBB Will be released early next year (February or March, I've forgotten). It was delayed, but... If you read up on it, there is a ridiculous amount of stuff in the game, and it's supposedly top notch quality as well... So should be worth it!

In Rockstar Table Tennis you can hit lobs, topspin, leftspin, rightspin, backspin, power shops, chop, etc.

And Brawl got delayed.................. boohooo.... at least Sonic is in it and there is Wifi, and there is a stage creation mode.

I got a Wii as a present a couple weeks back, and since then I have bought Super Mario Galaxy, GHIII, Resident Evil, and Legend of Zelda. It is a pretty cool system, great for having people over and wasting a couple of hours, although I find myself playing Fifa 08 on my PS3 more often than any of my Wii games.

i got GH3 for the ps2 so i could play 2 player on it with my sis. it seems resident evil would be a good game and zelda as well. my cousin told me rayman raving rabbids if pretty fun. once i get the time i'll start to play red steel(if i get the time to)

Yeah, I've got Twilight Princess, Wii Sports (obviously), Wii Play (not worth the extra $10 on top of the Wiimote), Tiger Woods 07, and Super Mario Galaxy. Super Mario Galaxy actually does live up to it's hype, so it's great to actually have a fun Wii game now.

There is a Tennis Game in the works for Wii. Using both controllers to play tennis.

I love my Wii. Have Madden, Guitar Hero 3, Godfather, Big Brain Academy, Zelda, Blazing Angels, Elebits - and with XMAS coming more games will no doubt be mine.

Can't wait for SSBB to come out next Feb.

The delay will be worth it, with 30-40 playable characters when it's all said and done, an online mode, stage creating mode, a buffed up single player mode and a multiplayer that can be endless with friends.

I just hope the Wifi online system isn't a little gimmick and can support the masses that will play it.

Online gaming rocks and imagine all of the possibilities of the stages, playable characters, and rankings that could make the online play amazing.

im pretty satisfied w/ my wii...and i like how nintendo is constantly coming up w/ improvements (thicker wrist strap, jacket, etc). only flaws i've found was a solid online support like the xbox360 and it's hard to play sports games without retardedly mimicking motions.

I have a Wii.

But I am disappointed w/ the games.

I currently only have Wii Sports, Wii Play, and Twilight Princess, thats all.

The Wii, I feel, will be great. There are many games I would want /fantasize to buy in the future: Brawl, Mario Kart, Pikmin, a Realistic Tennis Game, Mario Tennis, perhaps a true wii sword game, starfox, the next mario party, a RPG, a Prince of Tennis game... the list goes on and on. The Wii has much potential, but for now I don't see too many games I want to go out and buy (Metroid Prime Corruption, Mario Galaxy, and Guitar Hero III I'm debating).

Lil disappointed in the games right now.
I'm pretty much waiting for Brawl right now. Mario Kart in Spring 08
Hoping for some realistic/prince of/mario/ tennis game.

I bought a Wii last month not knowing at the time that they were still in very high demand. I happened to be at Target shopping for important things when they were in stock. Picked one up just because I saw four people each grabbing a Wii in a matter of minutes. It still amazes me that people have been looking for months for a console with no luck even though it has been out for a year now.

I remember when I was a kid and my mother bought the original NES for me. We got the bundle with the light gun and stupid robot with the gyroscopes, if I remember correctly. What's cool about the Wii, as it was for the original NES, is that it brings a totally different twist on playing games. I'm not a huge gamer, so I've been totally impressed with playing mostly Wii Sports golf and bowling with friends and family. Big Brain Academy is also fun during parties, but they should have named the game "Which One of my Friends is a Competitive A--hole?" (thanks, Demetri Martin).

Embarrassed to say, even after 40 hours, I still haven't beaten Twilight Princess yet. Great game and I am enjoying the storyline, and really enjoy the lure fishing minigame for some reason.

i hear its an excellent game. maybe i should get it. might go shopping this weekend for some wii games. but i still have need for speed carbon(havn't played in a while) to beat and red steel(to open and start playing)

Wii, the possibilities.

Would you say Guitar Hero is worth it? Probably, of course it is. Darn most of these games are good, I'm just cheap.

Off topic but, posts don't count to post count here huh. Do you know what sections count to post count? I just want 50 for now for my avatar.

Honestly, I still find the lack of good games a bit disturbing. There's Super Mario Galaxy (I'm not a Mario fan, but I still have to say this is a superb game,) Twilight Princess (slow, but fun once you get into it,) Metroid Prime 3...and Wii Sports? That's pretty sad for a system with this much demand.
