I called TW today re: TFight's availability and they indicated that they are not getting any more in on the 335's and 320's that they are currently selling, or sold out of. Does anyone know if the TFights are being discontinued?

I highly doubt that they are being discontinued...

How does the TFight 320 18x20 compare to Head MG Radical Pro concerning power, control and feel?

Currently I am demoing the Head MG Radical Pro and I really like that comfortable feel of this frame. Everything does it very well, good weight, decent control, firm volleys and nice pop when you hit the sweetspot. But maybe a little bit too much power for me. Also directional control could be slightly better. Beyond this I think it is annoying that strings move so much in this frame especially when I hit a extremely topspin stroke.
However I used to play more flat groundstrokes with a light spin. Also I can vary with slice, flat and topspin. I like to come to the net after a short ball and then finishing the rally with a volley.

So I am looking for a maneuverable allround frame that does everything well. Will be the TFight 320 18x20 a better fit for my game?

I have a brand new never used T-Fight 295 (not sold in US) that I am looking to swap for a brand new, or near new T-Fight 320/335. The T-Fight 295 is a little light for my tastes and I am looking for a heavier stick with a more closed string pattern.. The T-Fight 295 is 16x20 and I am looking for 18x20.

Still has the plastic on the handle and the card insert in the string area.

i hope you dont get banned

You have 34 posts to your name and you are giving me rules and threads regarding such rules.. Facts are, I have a frame that I want to swap, no harm letting people know. TW doesn't even stock this frame...

There are hebitual troll offenders that kill these boards everyday, and you are worried I might get banned for slipping in a frame I want to swap?..If the mods delete it then so be it..

I'm apples. But patrolling threads and doing the mods job isn't being uptight?. Unless you are interested in the frame, then what does it matter to you what anyone posts on the boards?

lol, i just felt like saying something about it. lets just forget this ever happened :p

any tecnifibre users here use the tour 6 or 9 pack? can you post a few pics in this thread here...http://tt.tennis-warehouse.com/showthread.php?t=165682

I use the old 6 pack and my son has the new 12 pack. They are good bags and the newest models are an improvement over the previous ones. The new ones have a little more misc. storage space and are not as suseptable to fading in the sun or zipper problems.

If I could have my pick I'd take the 9 pack as it would a better size for me. Not to big or to small.

Got my TF320 today and just returned from playing with her -- beautiful racquet...somewhere in the mold of a M-Fil 200 and RDS 001 in performance and feel. I love it. Plays a lot like the RDS 001 IMO in feel, control, and power level.
The square shape of the cross section reminds me a lot of my old school Mizuno
Pro 9.2 racquet...oh I wish I still had that baby!

I pulled out my M-Fil 200 and compared the two and found a lot of similarities in frame and cross section. Quite identical as a matter of fact...just weighted slightly different with the TF320 more HL.

Does the cross-section similar/same to the Head Prestige line?

I am excited to get one now.....it's all because of this thread haha....

How's the TF320 compared to the Donnay Pro One International MP?
Anyone tried both yet?

cause at a glance it looks really similar in shape.

Hey, I sent the racquet out today.

I haven't played the k90. If you like the swingweight on the k90, I think you'll notice some lack of mass in the head of the 335. The 335 is very head light and its swingweight isn't too high (320). So it's easy to swing fast even though its over 12 oz. You can always add some lead tape if you want to up the swingweight.

This is my main concern in regards to this racquet, because I like the swingweight to be in 330-340 range.I will probably add some lead to make it swing heavier.

currently playing with the TFight 320 (16x20). really great sticks. love the control and the spin. the upper part of the hoop is definitely not as lively though. any of you TFight users lead up at either 12 o'clock or 10 and 2 o'clock and had the sweet spot move up a bit?

been playing around with the strings. tried full red code at 56 pounds which i found to be really solid. great spin and even power.

tried x-1 biphase mains and red code crosses at 56 pounds. felt great but the x-1 biphase popped after a little over an hour of hitting.

tonight trying full x-1 biphase at 56 pounds. i hope it doesn't pop in an hour. ;)

Just switched from the Flexpoint Prestige to the T-Fight 335 16x20. Now I hear that the Microgel Prestige Pro is 16x19. Has anyone played with the Microgel Prestige Pro. How does it compare to the T-Fight 16x20?

Ill join, although im not sure if it might be my main racket.

Any customizing about my TFight 320 16x20?

I think it might be the strings, I have a hybrid going on, and Im not fond of them even now. I think I might try getting Topspin CF on them to get more spin.

The still dense 16x20, is lacking a bit of spin. The racket is just kind of so-so right for me, and the grip feels smaller then usual, and the grip is kind of short.

Still playing with this racket, and the days ive played on with it, happen to be in these courts in Taiwan, that are horrible cement, lacking the multilayer-ness of a true hard court.

We'll see how it goes with more testing

Oh yeah. Any Lead on my TF 320 16x20 advice?

Difference between T-Fight 320 18x20 and 16x20

Hey club members,

Could anyone comment on how the string patterns play differently for the T fight 320?

I like the stick but dont which pattern to play with, I have hit with the 16x20, but I typically have played with 18x20 string patterns.

i don't find the density of my t-fight 16*20 to be much different than in my LM Radical 18*20. the spacing seems to be similar. as for play, i haven't hit with the t-fight enough to comment.

I'm playing with T.Fight 320 (16x20) grip size 4 1/2 with some lead on 12 o'clock (SW 325). Sweetspot is very small, but after lowering tension the racket plays much better now.

Actually I've strung my racket with MSV Co Focus 1,23 red as main and Babolat Tonic+ as cross string (tension 23kg both.)

As the racket reach the weight limit for me, at the moment I'm trying to play with the T.Fight 295 with TW leather grip and leadtape with same strings and tension. Play's very nice with a weight of 330g by SW 320.

Nice setup Rolf! I've never seen the TF 295 - must be Euro only. Looked it up -- I really love the paintjob. The white accents are quite nice. I think Tecnifibre makes some quality frames. :)

^^^ i asked that questing in another thread not too long ago and didn't get much of a response other then that tecnifibre has many more racquet and accessory choices in europe.

The grip looks pink in that picture.

that's one of the things not so great about Tecnifibre racquets. they come with these red grips that are a different (lighter) shade of red than the deep red of their frames.

this pic is exaggerated though - not really pink. just light red grip versus deep red frame. :(

In Europe there's only a T.Fight 320 XL with 18x20 string pattern :(
An XL version of the one with 16x20 isn't released yet.

Rolf

ah yes, sorry, only the 18x20 so far.
I guess the denser string pattern is more popular, and it's a replacement for the 325.

I'm not sure that's necessarily true, Europe doesn't have the 16x20 string pattern option for the 320 and 335 T-Fights for example...but has some XL versions that are not sold in the US.
I just think some people @ TF are trying to justify their salaries by inventing "clever" marketing strategies on what they offer in the US and Europe, but I don't see ANY sense in their selection (it seems random to me). At least the "asian versions" from Wilson make sense :).

Here in Switzerland there are both string patterns available of the T.Fight 320

Rolf

Hmmm that's weird then. I can't find them (the 16x20's) in Germany, and as far as I remember uk_skippy a UK based stringer said on this forum that Great Britain doesn't have that option either.

I bought the Tfight 320 16M from a European stringer selling on e b a y. (This was a month or two ago). He also had the XL version for sale recently.

I added just 3 grams (1.5 each to 10 & 2 o'clock) to my 320s. Yes, this little bit of weight did make a difference so it doesn't feel so dead up top. I like how it feels serving and the racquets are still head-light.

i still own my t fight 335s 16* with leather and yonex supergrap! big ace 17. i love those guys (pretty hefty but a good swing weight).

which racquet do you guys think has more spin potential: t-fight 335 16* or the RQiS Tour? before i got the new RQiS Tour i heard how much spin potential it has, but i think the 335 16* has just as much... i could be the string setups or something else too though...

So if you need some, send me a message to mltfri@hotmail.com - then I can help you in getting one.

Rolf

Hey Rolf,
just wondering - do you work in a shop are you affiliated with the swiss tennis association? Also, I am contemplating in moving to Switzerland in the next few years - likely o zurich - do you have any recommendation for good tennis clubs there? I hear GC is pretty decent...
