Ok, for any NFL fans on here, who do you think will win the Thursday night game between the Packers and the Cowboys? As a Cowboys fan, I'm hoping the 'Boys do, but I also know the Packers are awfully tough...
Damn, I've got to find a place to watch that game!!!

isn't it sad that it can't be seen on cable? only the satellite companies here have it. grrrrrrrrrrrr..........i have GOT to find a place too. what is the NFL network thinking limiting the audience? do i just not understand what they are doing?

um, back to your original question... i don't know! i think it will be a good game though!

May the resurrection of Brett Favre continue! Packers win 31-14.
Although I think there's a decent posibility that GB will win the game, I can't see it being 31-14. I think no matter who wins, it's going to be a good, close game, probably within 7 points...
GO COWBOYS!!!!!

Cowboys will probably win. I would never bet on an NFC North team-the most overrated teams in the NFL play in that division.

Cowboys win by 2 TD's or more. I like Green Bay too, but they don't have a running game as good as Dallas. I am born and raised a Cowboy fan, so I want them to win BIG!! and even more define their place as the best in the NFC.

tenniskid, I hope you and Phil are right, but I'm definitely not counting on a 14 point blow-out. The Packers aren't 10-1 for nothing...
Right now, at half-time, the Eagles are giving the Pats all they can handle...

I agree they are good ,obviously, but the only Cowboys loss is to the Pats, and correct me if I'm wrong but I think the Packers lost to the Bears, who arent doing so hot right now.

3 weeks ago I would have thought DC easily, but not anymore. The GB D, O and ST are playing well. Now they have a RB in Grant. We just have to hope for an early lead and Roy Williams to get hurt. He is GOD-AWFUL as a safety. I wish they never gave him that contract. He was decent 2 years ago. If we pressure Favre and get some sacks we should win. But if gets all day back there they will kill R. Williams and take advantage. Favre is NO Manning/Klemmons/Etc...

Score: Dallas 31 GB 24

Alright folks, the Game starts in a few hours...Any more predictions? My prediction is Dallas over Green Bay, 34-24

Dallas's corners will be vulnerable to Green Bay's WR set. And so it'll be largely how Dallas's aggressive pass rush forced Favre to go outside his new-found discipline and gunsling his way into turnovers. GB has done a better job projecting the old man than they have in years. So Favre could have a big night, or 3 interceptions. More likely the former.

However, Green Bay's passing defense is going to get eaten alive by the Cowboys' WR core. Really suspect against long routes. If Dallas can keep Green Bay from controlling ball possession time, expect TO to have a really good night.

Cowboys by 10+

I think the Cowboys will win, but I hope the Packers do.

Wow, 31 (Harris?) just stripped the ball from TO and they blew it dead for forward progress, so the Cowboys keep possession. I don't really agree with that call though.

Everyone wants to see Brett Favre gets one more shot to the SB before he retires, and this year is probably it.

I hope he stays injury free because the NFC is still wide open..though the Cowboys are little head of everyone. Anything can happen in the playoffs.

Yeah, Ok...

Congrats to the Cowpokes; although it would have been nice not to have the game decided by a phantom interference call. Still 10-2, and will probably get another shot in the playoffs.

Yeah, I'm a big Cowboys fan, but there were some questionable calls in that game in the 'Boys favor...the pass interference call could have gone either way (the defender did put his hand on our receiver while he had his back to the ball), and I've seen it called/not called for pass interference.
As for the TO catch that got snatched out of his hands, I think if the ball hadn't already been whistled dead, it would have resulted in a "fumble" and been the Packers' ball.
Either way, it was a great game - lived up to the hype, IMO.

uuuuh. Speak for yourself. Who is EVERYONE? Not me! Favre had 17 years to win a SB (which he did). He had his shot..many times. Don't get me wrong...love the guy and have ultimate respect for him, but its Romo's time.

I guess I was wrong about who would win, but I was right about how GB would attack our defense (except they did it w/Rodgers). Why favre was chucking it downfield so much is beyond me.

The packer db put his left arm on the Dalla wr right shoulder, pulled his shoulder enough to cause the wr to pull back and then proceeded to put his right foot in between the wr legs which caused him to fall. The db was also BEHIND the wr when he made contact.

I realize there are a lot of bad calls from the refs, but this was not at all one of them. I can't believe some people think it was a bad call.
