For Volkl V1 Classic users

Hey fellow V1 Classic users! I am curious how many of us there are on this forum and why you use/like this racquet. Its "comfort technology" seems to be something people love or hate--when friends have hit with mine, the comment often seems to be something like... "I like it, but it's kind of weird." So... some questions I have for V1 Classic users are:
1. What is it you like about your V1?
2. What do you string it with?
3. What type of game do you have?
4. If you have moved on to another Volkl (or other), why?
5. Anything else?
No Volkl bashers, please.

The v1 has been around for maybe 13 years or so. It's the closest racquet I've ever seen <by far> to a one size fits all universal racquet. i always have one nearby for when somebody needs a racquet to use.

Evidently, this is not a hot topic, or there are not a lot of V1 users here. One last try... if you are a V1 user, please post your comment!

I was a V1 Classic user, but I switched the the newest Boris Becker V1 MP. The BB is very similar to the classic, but it's a bit heavier and it swings heavier. It's a really solid feeling racquet. No vibrations on mis-hits. I like the BB V1 for the same reasons I liked the classic. The sweet spot is huge, and it's a good all around racquet. It's a really great doubles racquet, and I think it excels at the net. I'm a 4.0/4.5 doubles player. I guess I have an all court type game, but I do try to get in to the net as fast as I can to finish points there.

I'm prone to tennis elbow, so I string with BDE Perf natural gut 17. I will comment that my left elbow has been hurting for about a month, and there is no reason in the world that the BB V1 should be causing that. I'm really bummed, because I love the BB V1. I still have one of my old V1's so I may switch back to that for a few weeks just to see what happens. If I do have TE from the BB V1, I would probably be the only person in the world that got TE from using a BB V1 strung with natural gut.

Also, 2 of my friends tried my V1 classics, and they switched. The use the V1 Classic Silver and love it.
