HELP!!!! needed choosing between these oversize racquets.

I want to experiment with using an oversize racquet but because Im not sure if its something I'll stick with I dont want to spend too much to begin with (have to buy, cant demo where I live) I've limited it to these racquets under $100 that I can buy from TW.

Before anyone chimes in with "try the POG", I have and I didn't like it. I'm also not interested in buying from the online auction site. Also, because I will not use the on-line auction site please dont suggest buying from that.

Ive narrowed my options down to these racquets which seem to have had good reviews in the past by players around the 4-4.5 region.

1. Head Flexpoint Radical OS
2. Prince TT Warrior OS
3. Donnay Pro One OS
4. Head Agassi Radical Limited Edition

I play a mix of singles and doubles, with probably 75-80% of my matches doubles. I play mostly from the back of the court but I dont consider myself a pure baseliner because I'll come to the net and I dont call myself a grinder or pusher because I like to go for my shots and force the action. I like to go for my first serve (I usually go for both first and second because I have confidence in my serve) then try to crush the return or hit a deep approach to set up an overhead or easy volley. That means the racquet has to have controllable power for serves (balance of power and control and spin) and has a bit of grunt from the baseline. I'd like some comfort as well.

To start with Im leaning towards the Flexpoint Radical because I have tried the Warrior MP and it was way too light to do any good from the baseline and leaded up it lost its manueverability.

Which ones do people think would be the best to try for the style of game Ive described ?

Donnay and the flexpoint are the only two out of the list i have tried, and between those two i would go with the Donnay, its a great racquet feels great and perfect weight, its the same racquet agassi used when he won wimbledon in 1992

I would go with either the Flexpoint Radical OS or the Donnay Pro One OS.

In my opinion, the Warrior is seriously anaemic and needs a significant dose of weight to be anywhere near as capable as the Flexpoint in any category apart from at net. The Agassi Ltd Edition, on the other hand, has more than enough heft but that leads to it being sluggish net and more of a drain over the course of a day's play.

No idea about the Donnay so can't comment on that one.

Guys, I'm looking for opinions from people who have actually played with the racquets I listed. If you haven't tried one, or any of them, please don't bother commenting because it isn't of any help.

diehard6, andrewd, dreydrey: thanks for your posts. I'm going to wipe the Warrior off and the Agassi as well so my choice will have to come down to the Flexpoint or the Donnay.

another good OS to add to that list, i know you want to stay under $100 but $119.99 the Prince Graphite Classic OS i dont want to confuse but its also a good racquet, not something i would use because too sluggish and heavy for me, but its still a great OS racquet if you dont mind the weight so much, lots of control, and great for baseline players, dont mean to confuse and add another racquet but its a great players racquet also....

The Agassi OS LE is a fantastic racquet, Get rid of the cruddy strings and restring them...

But even with the old strings , it had some rediculously awesome serve returns, consistant serves, and great volleys and great touch.
Its such a nice racquet but i personally dont want to use a racquet thats OS so i went for something in the 90 range

LE all the way. It feels solid, not at all hollow which is a problem at larger sizes for most racquets. I have not played the Donnay. I have two LEs though if that tells you anything.

The strings on the racquet are pretty good, play quite soft for poly actually. Replaced with ALU and you can definitely see why AA used the racquet, or a reasonable facsilile. BTW the weight is 11.3 oz not 12.1 oz as it says on the site, 1 inch (8 pts) headlight. It's fine at the net.

Okay, after getting a chance to hit with a couple of the racquets, the Head Agassi Limited Edition and the Head Flexpoint Radical OS I'm reinstating the Warrior OS and dumping both the Flexpoint and the Agassi completely. The Agassi was a really badly designed racquet that was nothing like the original Radical and horribly slow through the air. Okay at the baseline because it gave me a lot of power but for volleying and playing the net it would be a very poor choice. The Flexpoint Radical OS was kind of the same. Lots of power but too slow at the net. Better than the Agassi and I could play with it but not the best options.

So Im down to the TT Warrior OS and the Donnay Pro One OS.
