Supermario343, can you tell us what is the size comparison between Nike Vapor 5 and Adidas Barricade 5.
Your Vapor 5 shoes and Barricade 5 shoes, was the same size or not?
I all ready have one pair of barricade 5, and i´m interesting in Vapor 5, like yours, but in my contry doesn´t have the vapor 5, so i need to buy online.
Can you put some close-up photos (Front, Right side,Left Side, Back, 3/4 Front, Up) of nike vapor 5 white/obsidian, and tell us about the shoe size.
If anyone have nike vapor 5 white obsidian , and can put some real photos, please post.

CUJAYS - I was curious on how the Vapor 5's are. I read a lot of great reviews about them and people are raving about how good those shoes are. I've been walking on them since yesterday and I totally agree on how good these things really are. I am planning on getting another pair as soon as the Nike Store here in NYC gets more shipments of the black ones (they only have sizes 12 and up).

Size comparison hmm.....the barricades have more room for wider feet. The vapors are pretty much made for narrow feet and they hurt ur feet if you play in them for long enough. So my favorite choice is the barricades just bc my feet fit better in the barricades than the vapors.

I took the pics just after I got them from TW.
They look red now, because I play on red clay the entire outdoor season 9/10 times. Only play hard court, when it's very very hot and dry in the weather to avoid the red dust particles getting in my lunges....LOL.....
I much prefer to play on red clay - in fact I kind of hate hard courts compared to red clay. Only downside to red clay is that your shoes will get red and be almost impossible to clean - but why clean them, when I only use them for tennis anyway
I keep my Vapor V's in white mint clean condition - as I only use them for hard court play only and use them from and to the tennis club. I also always change from the Cages to the Vapors, when I'm done playing tennis, so I can enter the club house and restaurant wearing all clean white shoes :lol:

Amazing how some people here only buy one brand and have the whole outfits. I wish more people did that, really shows you are serious about tennis. In practice however i just wear my regular t shirt and shorts. There is nothing worse than someone with a lacoste shirt, nike capris and adidas barricades lol

Many of the solid 5.0 players I've encountered don't match. Some don't even bother wearing dry fit clothes.
I think it's worse to dress to the hilt and play like turd than to dress like a slob and play like a champ.
Obviously, the optimal situation is to look and play like a champ.

The Accelerators seems to have good support and has a low-to-the-ground feel like the VAPOR 5's (I'm currently breaking them in.. walking around the house with it). The only drawback is that this pair is a little on the heavy side.
I haven't used them on the court yet but for now, I'd choose the Vapor 5's over these.

Except for the Vapors, in the Nike shoes, I have to agree with you, BF's and Cages aren't the prettiest shoes around. Although, Adidas apparel is a solid second to Nike.

LOL, same here.
I only use my cage2s on clay cus IMO they looks like shoes that were made for long hard battle (so does Barricades) and use my beautiful Vapor IVs on syn grass and HCs

Also have all 3 color combinations of these shirts - they are very comfy to wear and light weight.
Though I prefer the new Federer polo's, they are even greater to wear - I also have them in 3 versions, dark blue, white and light blue - they are great
