They have some indoor hard, and I think outdoor clay. The indoor you can wear whatever, but I think outside you are supposed to wear all white. The indoor hard courts would be good for you. Medium high bounce and fairly quick. The surface takes spin really well. You can really hit out in there. I am predicting a JRS win.

Agree... the courts there are pretty quick, although not as lightening fast as worldgate in herndon! Watch out if your opponent has a good hard flat serve... I've found many of em to stay down low on the Army/Navy courts

Hey everyone, I've been MIA for the last few weeks. Just got a new job over in crystal city thats been keeping me pretty busy.
What's the good word on hitting and whatnot during the winter months/cold weather days...I prob should read back through the posts since you've all probably discussed but I'm too lazy.

As far as winter/cold for me itll just be my Clinic thursday nights. Dont waste your time reading the past posts. only about 5% contain any long lasting substance. Mostly about beer, foor, AACTA being real sucky, AACTA not being sucky, AACTA vs RTA, RTA being sucky but not quite as sucky as RTA, Food, TFMs vision, sapients hunger, JRS destoyin 3.5 players in his league.

Letys just look forward to MCcain wining the elction and me having off for 2 weeks becasue becasue BMore and DC will be destroyed by riots

No wookie yelps...though, after a missed forehand return, I think he wanted to...you could almost feel it coming...but nothing.

It was good playing with you too Topaz. The other team tried to pick on Topaz, but she was solid. Got back volleys and groundies, hit over heads, and was solid on service returns. Well played.

I had a few wookie yelps under my breath, especially when I missed easy service returns.

The guy on the other team flinched every time I poached. Wasn't pretty. Maybe he was expecting payback since he nailed Topaz twice - once in warm-up.

The Team 12-Toes?? Toe-Striker??? win was good. Even better is the team got the overall win. Go team!!!

The Wookie musuem is still collecting donations for the musuem trust fund, we are also trying to find a facility that can accomodate my collection. Untill then, the JRS Cup stays in secure storage in an undisclosed location.

I boycott the juice bar because they SHOULD have used the space near the area where the tv is that currently is taken up with wannabe UFC dudes wrassling each other and making the whole place stink like armpit.

i thought the martial arts in the lobby was a temporary thing... next thing you know, they'll be playing jai-lai in the garage and racquet ball in the showers. (insert joke)

and that's how i feel about that!

I bought a muffin there once...and the woman who was working there scared me a bit. Some of the juices look intriguing, but haven't really had reason to try them. Also, was watching one of the men's opens once, and the woman who was there was very loudly arguing on the phone, obscenities and all, with the woman who was *supposed* to be working that morning. Ooops.

I'm with you Vitaly...it is so awkward where it is...and come summertime, they are going to miss that space for the campers! They should scrap it all together, and put in a full scale restaurant like they do in Regency!

Went and voted...took approximately 3 minutes. LOL. Guess 1:20 in the afternoon is not peak voting time for most! I breezed right through.

Also noted that while most people are at work is when the weirdos comes out...from the person driving 45 mph on 395 (thinking...holy crap, we're all going to die because this person is going toooo slow!) to the crazy woman in line at the grocery store buying six LARGE bottles of wine and then complaining about how much they cost.

Yes. That is the price 37.50 for 2 hours of drills.

No break down of pricing based on peeps. Thats pretty cheap if you break it down hourly ($18.75).

So calling out Magma, Howard, Vitaly, JRS.. anyone who wants to get 2 hours of drills to help improve.

Also you will help Tommy get a breather between rallies. LOL.
