We miss you around Xisbum. Today at Sport and Health the Lobster team came in to play. Everone was over 90 years old. And they were moving well! They make you look like a wee kid Xisbum. You move like you are 30.. too bad your knee wont cooperate!

As I said, before your time. James Chaney, Andrew Goodman and Michael Schwerner were the 3 kids (oldest was 24) killed by the Mississippi KKK in 1963 for helping register black Americans to vote. Addie Mae Collins, Carole Robertson, Cynthia Wesley and Denise McNair were the 4 young black women/girls (oldest was 14, youngest was 9) killed by the KKK bombing of a Birmingham, Alabama, church, also in 1963. They weren't doing anything except being young women and girls.

Didn't mean to preach or give a history lecture, but I lived through all that stuff and it had much to do with making me who I am. Today means even more to me and many of my generation than the fall of the Berlin Wall and the crumbling of the Soviet Union. It's something we never thought we would see.

On a side note, I have officially sold every racquet I own except for my 2 original Donnay's. I feel lonely.

. There is something about most prince racquets (esp any newer models) that makes them not good.

i'm depressed now. nader/gonzalez didn't win. what is this world coming to?

the only thing that may make me feel better is texas style bbq and a lot of it.

i'd also pay a lot of money for a 2 foot network cable that works.

is it going to stop raining today?

I wont voice my opinion of this election, but if you need a 2ft network cable I can make one for you. All I ask for in return is a one way plane ticket and 2 months living expenses to a country not in N.America that speaks and can support sombody that only speaks american

in all seriousness why cant you just use one of those pre fab 1m cables? Do you need a crossover? are you doing something witn an old pairgain 384 or campus T1 modems? Pairgain equips use different pins then standard ethernet.

Dont know about the rain, but chances are that it will stop raining sooner or later

And he liked to show off his big brain - "YOU CANNOT BE SIRIUS!" was his favorite expression. :roll: You know those redheads.

I'd normally agree with you on this as I've never really beed a fan of Prince racuets with the possible exception to the blue change titanium and maybe the TT warrior MP made famous by Pat Rafter. However I recently hit with the OZone Tour and OZone Pro-Tour (both MP) and was pleasantly surprised... havn't really played with them enough to know if I really like it but plays really well off the ground (similar to the N/K-blade) but felt a little ackward on the volleys/serves. Not sure how much of that is the racquet or the fact that I'm just too used to the feel of my prostaffs.

Have you ever heard of this Charles Ross guy? He is licensed by lucasfilms and performs a one man show of the Original Trilogy. He was on the radio the opther day and sounded like a pretty funny guy.

I agree with HW on this one. The stringbed is too inconsistent with these frames. I take a short stroke and the ball barely crosses the net. I take a big stroke and the ball sometimes goes in, and sometimes goes over the fence. I did enjoy hitting one handed backhands with this frame, and I have a two hander

I dont think that its him bashing or making fun of star wars. The little pice he did on the radio he was basically playing out scenes between people by himself. nd from little bit of the Movies I have seen, and from the radio people he sounded pretty much like all of them. He even did a wookie yell.

But seeing him do a scene where hes talking to himslef in Yoda, Obiwan, R2D2 noises and anything else would be funny to me.

Sappy -- i'm not sure if i'm coming out for sup's masochist clinic. 1 - it's about 45 min drive for me. 2 - it's about $37.50 more than i normally like to pay for tennis. 3 - vision is still blurry. 4 - sup makes me run more than i typically like to.

wife put the kabosh on all of my weekly lunch outings. she packed me spaghetti instead. um yay. you single people - don't get married.

Auz, that guy lost to a few guys that i beat early in the year, but seems to have gotten better as the year went on. He lost to some of the very few good players late in the year, so he has practiced against some big hitters at the end of October. But he lost....
He can beat the ACTA pushers pretty easily though but said that one of the softer hitters "controlled the tempo" in the notes, so maybe he is a backboard too?
I don't think I've ever seen this guy play, though.
I predict he will have no answer for the whipping Auz forehand that starts by punishing crosscourt angles and then goes for the jugular by blasting down the line!
