Heard Mr Harry will gonna bring his old boys back in town with the names of Defoe and Crouch in his purchase list. Any opinion?

Don't think it'll happen. With Defoe, maybe. Crouch? Can't see it happening, he's already been at a bigger club than Spurs and has seemed to settle in quite nicely with Pompey. Who else could he bring? That Croatian guy (forgot his name)? Maybe, he'd convince Modric to stay with him. Who else is there that's worth mentioning? Diarra? That would NEVER happen, you can't play for Chelsea, and then Arsenal, much less then eventually move to Spurs, that's not possible!

Feña14

G.O.A.T.
Kranjcar? Yeah he could go. Apparently Monaco bid something like £10-15 Million for him in the summer but Portsmouth turned it down.

I'm guessing £18 Million, Harry Redknapp, and the likes of Modric and Corluka already at Tottenham would be pretty convincing for him.

I doubt Defoe and Crouch will go though, unless Portsmouth drastically fall apart now Harry's left then they will be after moves for sure.

Yeah, you bring up a good point. I think that deal might go down in January. Who else do you think could potentially end up with Spurs? And what do you think will happen if Diarra goes, as we all know 'Arry loves him.

Diarra's played pretty well to be fair to him, he was brought in at Chelsea to be the new Maka but as it turned out.. Mikel, who was brought as an attacking midfielder, turned out to be the real heir to Makelele.

He's done pretty well with Portsmouth though and apparently he had a gentlemans agreement with the club that if a top club comes in for him, he can leave. Would they class Tottenham as a big club? I'm not so sure they would.

Tottenham certainly do need a defensive midfielder as Zokora isn't up to it, so he'll be high on the list. Ramos wanted Poulsen who he had at Sevilla, but he went to Juventus in the end.. so it's long been identified as a problem area.

Arsenal once again embarrassed, looks like another disappointing year coming the way of the gunners. Hull played well to end the match against Man U, good sign for them for the future.

I'm not surprised about Arsenal at all. Stoke are extremely good at home with their physical nature and ability in the air. I always thought this would be a tough one for Arsenal to win.

Two 5-0 wins for both sets of the blues puts them top of their respective leagues at the moment....Awesome! :):):)

Strange mate, what was the score the last time Chelsea and Rangers met? :p ;-)

See, we were told we had to put out a weak team and lose to keep relationships good between the two Countries.

Even so, with us not trying all game it took about 80 mins to get a breakthrough! Shocking, Jonny *shakes head*

Yeah long throw against that weak central defence of Arsenal was always going to be trouble, they definitely need a defensive mid in there to cure some of the problems they have been having.

Spurs win for the second time...Liverpool back to second and Chelsea back on top, guess the top spot was fun while it lasted for them.

Chelsea is top of the league! To make things even THAT much better, my boy Jozy Altidore (formally a New York player) got a few minutes for Villarreal today, and scored about 11 seconds after coming on the pitch. I woke my neighbor up with my screaming!

Yep, people wondered how I knew Liverpool wouldn't win it this year. It's games like these that you have to win if you want the League title and let's be brutally honest.. Liverpool don't have what it takes.

Harry Redknapp really a magician. Just 3 games in charge and he already done with proven results to the team. Fantastic killer against Liverpool 2-1 which the Reds claimed they're ready for the title :). ********!

Man U 4-3 Hull City.

A brilliant fightback from the underdog which came from behind to make it 4-3. The devils really need to tighten up their defensive area and Berbatov need to sharpen his skill for more goal and play more upfront. Pretty guess Sir Alex still in search of Nistelrooy replacement. A striker which able to score more than 20 goals in every season.

Don't need a replacement for RVN when Ronaldo's still scoring and Rooney always hits a good run of form.

And it's United, not U.

I think they might have what it takes to finish second this year, but Chelsea have been unreal and I don't really see how they could be stopped from winning the league this year.

As for my team City were dreadful against Bolton, no possession and only trying to long ball to Evans for most of the match whilst BW came out focused and energised completely overpowering both on defence and attack, especially in the second half. The most disappointing thing is that City didn't create more than one or two goal scoring chances the entire match, both with Ireland. Hopefully at home we can get back into the groove against Tottenham.

Man U will be stopped by Arsenal, even without Van Persie or a decent defence...I wish.

I knew it's United, not U. Short cut dude :-?. So much so the Devils need a striker to score and not just liase and depends from the winger to fire from all the corners.

Ronaldo already superbly replaced the place of Beckham from the heart of everyone at Old Trafford. But still the Devils missing up front fired without the best striker Nistelrooy. Tevez and Berbatov still need times to study and sharpen up their sense of score .

Fergie likes it rough, and win for United would make things too easy, especially before the holiday season....

Still, a bad game for United, an off day (I wish the off days would not be on gameday), The only positive I saw today was Da Silva scoring his first goal, he only played a handful of games, impressed on each one, maybe he will help Anderson find his first goal too.

A win at Blackburn tomorrow would be huge.

8 points ahead of Man Utd, with a huge goal difference would be perfect.

The weather looks like it's going to be really wet aswell which should help us, although it's a 15 minute walk to the ground which I won't be looking forward too!

Hey guys, I'm watching the action from Spain today, has anyone seen either one of the Big Two play today? Real Madrid 's match was quite strange, a bunch of yellows, a red for Sergio Ramos, and Higuain scores four during the course of the match.

You think that's impressive? I'm watching Barcelona right now and Eto'o just upped the ante by scoring four goals as well...in the first half and it's only the 60th minute. This could get interesting...

Anyone saw Liverpool today? The third goal (who scored it? I think it was Alonso, I think I'm wrong) was just sheer class!

I saw Real Madrid yeah, Ramos always seems to get himself sent off.

Eto'o did well, a couple of his goals were very lucky but I suppose you have to be to get 4 in a half!

And yeah Liverpool's third was good, Arbeloa, not Alonso though. He only scores lucky deflected goals! ;)

Everyone,

Just to say about my team... the lazarus-like rise from the dead that Redknapp has inspired is truly amazing (so amazing in fact, he's even got serial under-achiever and surely one of the Prem. lge's most overpriced players ever - Darren Bent, playing pretty well!) However, with the likes of Kinnear's Newcastle (and, wo, how charmless is that individual?), not to mention Megson's Bolton (is there a fan of his style of football anywhere in the entire country?) actually picking up points as well lately, Tottenham fans just can't relax because it hasn't actually translated into us leaving the bottom 3. Anyway, let's see how we all get on in the next game or two.

Won't happen. Jose wants to win in Italy before he heads back. Something tells me he'll end up at Madrid after he kicks ass in Italy. Then he'll head back. He's got time, he's quite young for a manager.

If City are keen on getting a new man (which is NOT a good idea because City want to be a big club, which is usually achieved through stability in the manager's position) and sacking Hughes (he needs time, he's a great guy. If he does go I say Chelsea should offer him a assistant role) isn't a smart move. If City do get a new man, I say go for Bernd Schuster, who's probably done come January. But who will replace him?

I think you are right in saying Mourinho won't leave Italy until he has won something, he is far too stubborn and proud to just leave. He isn't enjoying himself in Italy though and it appears himself and his family are missing England.

He has said the fans in Italy are in love with the idea of football - the drama, theater, the scandals etc.. but not the actual football itself like they are in England, I think he is also missing the media, his family have been uprooted to a new Country and have had to learn a new language etc...

So I can see him coming back to England and Manchester City would be the likeliest option at the moment, not Madrid. I can see Schuster going though, deffinitley. As for who would replace him.. Juande Ramos! He is still very highly regarded in Spain (his UEFA Cups are anyway, the way he installed diets at Tottenham that made his players physically sick before games, lack of motivation to learn the language and refusal to hand fringe players squad numbers all seem to like school boy errors for a man with his C.V.)

Re the Mourinho debate, I agree he'll likely stay in Italy until a big trophy is in the bag (Scudetto, Champ.'s lge), before going off again to conquer Spain, winning the World Cup with Portugal, returning to more glory in the English Prem, running for for President, solving the issue of world peace, and who knows what else 'the Special one' has put his mind to achieving!!

Adriano did gave Mourinho a lot of headache especially on his late attendance and disciplinary on/off field. Even the Club President did speak on good term on behalf of the Brazilian which might gave Mourinho some troubled at Italy. Well i would like to see him back to EPL and show some magic and miracle success to the club.
