toronto lawn has clay.... didn't think it was that great (don't tell my host LOL!!!).
granite club has alot of the greenish clay (are you talking literally green, cause it looks more grey to me??).... but granite has red clay too i think, and it's much better to play on.
great, great grass tennis club over by high park that is cheap and looking for members (no one seems to know about it) ....... pretty amazing setup and it's only $400 per year.... wish i could remember the name.... frankly, playing on grass is overrated from my experience (again, don't tell that host!!!)...... might be called high park tennis club, but it is NOT the community club and the courts are NOT in high park. just east of high park, i'll try to remember name of the street.... i looked up mapblast... it's on indian road (next street parallel to park side drive on the east, tennis/curling club on west side, but you can't see the courts from the road)......
