Is it for overall consistency in his look, or is there something magical about that racquet? What is it? I will say: the guy is a magical player.
To match his face...
BURN.
It suits his looks.

But I love his game.. He is my favorite player to watch.
Your kidding us right??? :-?
Well I think he plays with that raquet because its his "precious"
He is a superb player - a true all-courter, and a great tactician.. how else can he get Viadasova?

Obsessed with LOTR much
You cannot argue with the results this year after the switch...2 wins, 1 final, other good showings. I saw him in Miami win some great matches (Gonzo) and lose some not so good matches (Verdasco). I know that most on here like to rip him, but I think that he is great. My favorite player by far. Great at singles and doubles, uses all kinds of shots, jumps around like an idiot...just great. I hope that he plays until he's 40.

one word: money
I can bet most of the people on this board are middle-aged or late 30's people who don't have good looks either. So before you diss stepanek's looks, why don't you look at yourself first:lol:

you think wilson or head wouldnt pay more?
Bosworth is out of business to add to that.
LOL! Just a coincidence, I've seen Radek being compared to Gollum and now this goofy raquet of his known to me as "precious"
It's a cool racquet... Jeez!
On TW site:When did Bosworth go out of business?
On TW site:
***Please note that the Bosworth Collection racquets are no longer in production, with no plans for them to be produced again. Although these racquets are in new, unused condition, it is important to realize that they were manufactured some time ago and are best classified as New Old Stock (NOS). Tennis Warehouse does not guarantee the life of the grommets, grip, bumper guards or any part of the frame of NOS racquets. All racquets are sold as is. No warranties or returns apply to NOS racquets.

The Bosworth Collection racquets are not the same as the racquet that Stepanek/Navratilova use or that is advertised on the Bosworth website. Personally tried to get a Bosworth Custom and went through the interview/questionnaire process with them in February but have not heard anything further in almost 2 months now. They have not responded to any of my emails. That's why I asked if they were out of business.
