Wow so the new Pure Storm looks like that. Thanks for pics. Nice looking stick but why aren't Babolat sticking to the traditional orange and instead make it red/white like the Aero Storm? I'm predicting the Aero Storm will be discontinued.:lol:

If I remember correctly, the Pure Storm Tour was the replacement for the Pure Control racquets. The Pure Control series was discontinued.

Looking closely again at the third pic I can pretty much confirm it's a Pure Storm. You can make out the very faint STORM word on the throat of the frame.

I thought the Drive Z line was being discontinued. I know that Radwanska is using the new Pure Drive Lite (possibly a PJ though).
I'm not gonna lie though, I thought this PS PJ looked a lot like the AST when I first saw it. They had better not get rid of the AST! I'd hate to think that I have to stock up more.

Looks like they're trying to do the microgel radical colors, whereas wilson is trying to emulate the pure drive with their cobra racquet, so wilson is chasing babolat which is chasing head which makes sense given the respective popularities of those racquets, especially among juniors.

WTH is Babolat doing?!?! This is disgusting. The frame looks ok to me, but why did they update the paintjob when they just did that recently? It looks too much like the AS/T. Let's see if I got this right, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong:

PS Ltd.: Blk/Ltd Orange
Soo this is one is the Tour? I don't understand why they would use Red if it's not the "tour". Rob uses the PS right, I;ve seen pics where his frame clearly has orange. Someone in Babolat needs to get their act together. Is the technology in the PS being updated like the PD, like does it have GT now? I see no reason to change the colors. Just like when they introduced the AST, it's just going to confuse ppl.

Ditto. The Black, Red and White is one sleek looking stick. This new frame Ginepri has (paint job or not) is...well...UGLY.
Let's hope Babolat has the good sense to keep the cosmetics looking good as the frame plays.

It doesnt look to bad,, Just don't get why Babolat had to change the colours,, They had it all figured out with the colours and the rackets now suddenly there starting to sell 2 different rackets in the same colours just doesnt make sense,,

There's freaking 4 versions of the Pure Drive only varied by weight, balance, and a bit of color. Whereas the AeroStorm and Ginepri's racquet are structurally different. Plus, Babolat just released the AeroStrom a 2 years ago, at the most, why would they discontinue it, especially when the number 1 womens player is using it, along with Petrova and Dushevina?

The look of this racquet has definitely got me questioning my taste. Sometimes it looks good, and other times I wanna slap myself for thinking it looked ok a couple seconds prior.
I just hope the playability of the stick makes up for the aesthetics.

The former PST's came out in the summer of 07 so it's not that hard to believe that they are coming out with new versions two years later. Head did the same thing, releasing the MG Radicals in the summer of 07 and the new ones are coming out this year.
I played with the PST for 18 months and it's a kick ass stick. I would imagine that it does not sell in any near the numbers of the pd or apdc so they bring out the new colours to keep the interest up. PD is back by Rod and the APDC by Rafa so they can afford to do the 3 year new product cycle.

It's the new version of the PST, with "GT technology". I think they'll still call is PST, but not positive. Also, at last check, Robbie's was a pj, and it was still the PC underneath. That's not to say he won't ever switch, but he hasn't yet.
I read an article like 10 minutes ago. It supposedly a Pure Storm GT.
In fact, it's THE PURE STORM GT.

Red always looks hot. I like red racquets.
But it makes me wonder why All the brands of tennis racquet manufacturing doing red paint job for their top/ best racquet like prestige in head, k6.1 in wilson, n storm series in babolat.
Maybe because red represents mad, angry n brave.

I heard from our swedish Bab-rep that it´s supposed to be a bit stiffer and more solid feel then the current Storm.

To be fair, it's the PS (300g) PAINT JOB. His frame weighs well more than that, and is based on the old (swirly) PC+.
