This may well be his last chance at winning the FO. Do you think he will cry IF he loses again to Nadal in the final?
You cant really say its his last chance. People said that 2 years ago...they said that last year as well...and are now saying it again this year. Of course by each passing year the chances get slimmer but that doesnt mean he cant win it. He is 28...stop acting as if he is 38. He has kept his body in great shape...free of injuries for the most part and hardly ever breaking a sweat in his career. If there is anyone who can have a prolonged tennis career its Federer.
^He's actually not 28 until August.
I said it "may well be"...i didn't say it is his last chance lol. I chose my words carefully...
He will cry when he loses in the SF or even earlier.
He wont be in the final.
Yup, it's not like he's made 14 of the last 15 grand slam finals and the last 3 finals at the French Open or anything.
It seems entirely possible that he'll lose before the semis...

Sure, every streak has to end; but people who keep predicting it will end when it doesn't start to lose their credibility.
Federer has simply been an inredibly consistent force since he rose in his career, even during last year's and this year's slump years.
People have also been predicting the end of Nadal's career due to injuries for years now...
You mean like Nadal's French Open streak?Every streak has its end.
He'll cry only if the vociferous crowd displays their unconditional love and adoration for him, despite his public failure, emotionally overwhelms him again, like what happened at the awards ceremony at the Australian Open.

RG's oldest winner since the early seventies was Andres Gomez who won the title at 30 years old and 3 months in 1990, the second oldest was Agassi at 29 years old and 1 month in 1999. The third oldest was Thomas Muster at 27 years old and 8 months (isn't that Fed's age by the way?) in 1995. Lendl also won RG at 27 in 1987.
Every streak has its end.

mike, ignore him.Its a fact you cant get along with him.I see gj011 is trolling YET AGAIN All this troll does is stalk people, insult players and pollute threads! :-?
Nope I think the AO was just an emotional build up because he expected to win on hardcourts and tie Sampras.
At the FO Roger goes in with no expectations of winning so no huge letdown if he looses.
exactly---
it's amazing how people around the world love him so much more than nadal,
even though he loses...
Don't worry that day will comeYou mean like Nadal's French Open streak?
