My RG Draw Analysis.

Nadal: Hardest Draw. 4th round (Ferrer), and Verdasco in the QF. Hewitt possible in 3rd round.

Murray: Easy Draw. 1st round may be tough, but he has no clay courters in his group of 16. QF likely to be Gonzo or Simon, both not that great on clay.

Djokovic: Fairly Hard Draw: 3rd round Kohlschreiber/Ferrero/Ljubicic may be hard, Robredo in 4th round, and JMDP/Tsonga in the QF may be difficult.

Federer: Easiest Draw: When your draw looks like this: Martin, Acasuso, Mathieu, Blake/Berdych, Roddick/Monfils, you know you got lucky, although Gael Monfils may prove troublesome in the QF.

Let me catch all you up with what has happened so far in the 2009 year......

Only Nadal, Federer, and Joker have done anything worth mentioning on clay.

Anyone who thinks these other players that keep being mentioned are some sort of threat, or make a draw harder are in dream land.

Now, being that Joker and Federer will have to play (if they both get that far), then that makes their draw the toughest.

Additionally, because of the aforementioned, according the Nadal haters on this board (veroniquem/Nadal _Freak)this will be the **REAL Final**.

Nadal and Djokovic are the real final. If Fed takes that away from Djokovic, Nadal will have it even easier. When Nadal faces a tough matchup, he is forced to play extremely long matches. That is why I look for the easiest road possible. Nadal was fresh for Wimbledon last year and look what happened. It's not just being fresh for the finals. It's being fresh for the second half of the season. Hopefully Nadal takes a month off after Wimbledon instead of going to that clay event.

This isn't Madrid. They (nadal/joker) will not be playing in the semis, therefore, according to your logic>>> the Real final could only be FED vs Joker.
You are frustrating to talk to. That might be the closest matchup but Nadal is the best player. I'm looking forward to a Fed/Joker matchup.

One thing is certain...If Fed & Djokovic play in the semis, then Djoker/Fed will be exhausted going into the finals...So the final will just be a gift to Nadal... :D

Unfortunately, Fed doesn't like to grind out matches. The points are much shorter here. Each set will probably last around 40 minutes. Joker and Nadal set lasted 87 minutes.

The only way they can meet is in the final, smarty. Real final?

Yea I agree with everything in this post. However, you called veroniquem and Nadal_Freak Nadal haters? Was this sarcasm? Last time I checked they'd marry the guy.

It's really hard to say. I mean, they are constantly saying how injured he always is, exhausted, complaining about his draw, the ATP schedule, fact he sometimes has to play night events, etc, etc, etc. When reading this, they paint a picture that the guy is a pre-madonna and absolute wuss. therefore, I could only conclude that they subconsciously hate the guy.

I know that. I was pointing that out to Drakulie who said that I think Fed/Djokovic is the real final. I pointed out that Nadal/Djokovic are the 2 best players and should be the ones in the final. So they being the real final imo and anything else happening would be a disappointment for the final. They still have to win for the final to come true.

You are thinking too much. Just think what would give your favorite player the best chance? That is all you have to look into it.

Oh okay, I get what you're saying, but I think that they really just absolutely love him, and they defend him so valiantly that it almost looks like a joke or sarcasm to a non-obsessed Nadal fanatic but to them it is 100% real. That's my perspective. LOL.

IMO Djoker has SUCH A DIFFICULT DRAW. I mean FFS, Lapentti in the FIRST ROUND DAMMIT. That's insane! The two haven't played before, Djoker's gonna have such a difficult time. I swear the draw is rigged against Djokovic, I mean, c'mon, why does he have such a goddamn difficult opponent?

(that was sarcasm Bundey :D)
