Who knows about Raymond Sarmiento? I just picked him up on the internet as a top college recruit for the upcoming year 2010.
What qualifies a person to receive money from the USTA?
these kids got sent to Spain for like 3 months and everything all paid for... I think it's so unfair the way USTA does things... well that what happens when you're like the outside looking in..who are some of the coaches
socal10s where do you train?
Hes very solid i just think you get what you pay for , he could have done better then he did under other coaching and he did well for what he had , Hes going to USC i think
decent player, very flashy ,played USA Jr. Davis cup, part of the USTA elite player development group of kids.. he's a USTA kid and everything is all free for him to take advantage of...
IMO.. I don't think he'll make it as a pro,he's too short and not a big hitter, moves well but tend to self-destruct in big matches..he surprised me though, with a big win over Kudla in the Easter bowl.. watched him at Kalamazoo last year,he was holding serve all the way and when pressure situations comes around,he'll do silly things like trying to hit a perfect dropshot or something in that nature..
solid player, great doubles player at the Jr. level but not enough fire power for pro tennis..
Raymond Sarmiento-- in the clay nats.. good test next round.. let's see if all the USTA money was worth it.. G.Brasseux is a solid player, they're about the same age...
