What's your favorite MF string? Mine is Gamma Asterisk so far, but I'm still searching for the best one!

Alpha Sphere, then Alpha Prodigy, then Head Fibergel Power. I actually like NRG2 also, but for the money, I don't think its as good a buy. For the money, it's hard to beat Pro Supex Maxim Touch, but I like the feel of the Alpha Prodigy better.

Yonex Tour Super 850 is great for the price
X1 biphase if you don't mind the price. I find it's slightly muted and very comfortable. Provides a nice pocketing feel in the right racquet.

Upper end: Technifibre X-1 Biphase (NRG2 a close second)
Cheap: ProSupex Maxim Touch

Yonex Tour Super 850 16g string. Great feel, soft, durable, doesn't move.

I agree but i LOVE the Babolat Xcel power. It is a bit heavy of a string but love the power and great Control. Combination that is hard to find these days.:)

1. LaserFibre SuperNatural Pro Stock

2. Wilson NXT Tour

The two best-performing multis I've ever hit with (in that order).

(If you've never tried natural gut, you really owe it to yourself to try it. Doesn't have to be Babolat VS -- try the cheaper ones , priced in the mid-20s and low-30s. Pacific guts are very good.)

Wilson Sensation 16 ...and I have tried many, believe me. I always keep coming back to Sensation because of the great sensation/feel...I know this is not a popular choice on these boards but it works fine for me. Nothing better than freshly strung Wilson sensation.

For those who use X-1... is it true that the red and clear colors play different? I read that on the feedback and was wondering if you've tried both?

yes, in my experience natural and red play differently......

I thought that the red felt stiffer than the natural.....

I prefer the way natural plays over the red.

Hey Steve... any feedback for Head FXP Power 17?

Ok I have tried gamma livewire pro; ah not so good with tension maintenance, ok for the first hour or so.
tecnifibre multifeel; great multi, soft, comfortable, powerful, and great tension maintenance.
gosen super tek, good multi with feel and power.
now my fav multi now is the superstring voodoo energy. been playing with it for a couple weeks now on different surfaces, clay and hard court, and this has great tension holding ability, the feel is so soft, volleys are so buttery!!! power is definitely there. and i can get loads of spin out of this with out the strings moving all over the place.
need to have more of this in my inventory.
