Looking to move on from PSGD and try new strings need your input!

so i've been using PSG/PSGD for the past 5/6 years ever since I started playing and looking at these forums it seems I really am missing out on a whole load of others.

what do you guys think I should try with my next string job and which direction should I move? or should I just stay using PSGD?

I use a lm radical mp and normally have my racket strung at 58lbs with 17g psgd. Probably describe myself as mostly a baseliner and won't volley unless I'm playing doubles or absolutely have to lol...

Thinking of trying the new signum pro hyperion or focus hex should I do a hybrid first?

I too use the Head Liquidmetal Radical MP. Right now I have it strung up with Prince Synthetic Gut Original 16 @ 58 lbs. So I think you and I have the same taste in rackets, string and tension...

One string I am out of but absolutely love is Tecnifibre Multifeel @ 58 lbs. I have some more coming today. My second choice is the PSG/PSGD but my first choice like I said is Tecnifibre Multifeel. You should give it a try...

haha the chances of that.

hmm I would love to try it but that would amount to equiv of $40 here in uk and i'm only in high school so not looking to spend that kind of money for a string job.

have you tried any poly's with your rad?

I recommend you to try out Gosen OG Sheep Micro Super JC 16. It plays very similar to your Dflex, so it won't affect too much of your game...

Stick with what works......

I've been playing with LM Pres MP and more recently MG Rad MP's......I stray away from PSGD 17 from time to time and find myself coming back to it ..... it works, it's cheap.....

i started off with psgd in my prestiges, then moved to a hybrid with it in the crosses, then moved to full poly.

when i was using psgd full job it only lasted about 10 hours. hybriding it got the durability up to about 2/3 weeks. now, with full poly i dont really break it, but cut it out every 2/3 weeks anyway

Tecnfibre multifeel is only 5 dollars more than psgd... is it that much more expensive? also, try signum pro poly megaforce. thats 9 dollars a set
