How do Yonex rackets work with a one-handed backhand ?

Hey everyone,
I'm currently using a Babolat aero pro drive at the moment (the one Nadal supossedly uses), and I'm getting really mixed results with it. I'm looking to switch to a Yonex. How does the RDiS 100 midplus work with a one-handed back hand ? Also, how is serving with it ?

I only hit with the RdiS 100 (MP) one time (my friend got it) he let me hit with it; I have a 1h BH; it hit pretty well I thought the handles a little longer but it was a solid feel on the backhand. I didn't really serve much with it;

The thread has positive results for yonex and 1h bhs. Read it =)

Why would the factors that determine how ANY racket plays (length, weight, SW, etc) be different for Yonex than any other racket. Each racket feels different, but whether it is swung by 1 hand or 2 is really of no consequence. If you like the feel of a particular Yonex, swinging it with 1 hand would really be no different than swinging a Babolat, Wilson, Prince etc with similar length, weight and SW. It would just have that "Yonex" feel.

scrichapan hit a pretty good 1hbh with a yonex......and served pretty well with it too.

They have a longer grip, so some people wonder if they're designed for two handers.

They work fine. Generally that line of Yonex racquets with their HL balance and medium to low swingweight are very conducive to a one handed backhand. I have had great success with the MP1, RDX500, RDS001 and RDS002 Tour, which all share those same characteristics with the RDiS100.

With regards to serve, most have commented that serving with the RDiS100 is better than with the RDS001, which would make it quite acceptable for most.

the backhand with a yonex is the same as any other racquet. so if you're getting mixed results with the aero pro, then you'll probably have similar problems with any other racquet. although some racquets do make it a bit easier to hit with a 1hbh, it is much easier to fix it through technique. plowthrough usually helps when hitting the 1hbh, so you can try leading up your aero pro a bit to see if it helps.
