No - cellulitis is a "diffuse, acute infection of the skin and subcu tissue"

Red, swelling, hot and painful - red streaking beyond wound equals spreading. Mine was from a cat bite (like kitty keyboards, but don't tell Sapient)

Do you have a Mosby's medical dictionary yet? Get one, they are wonderful and invaluable.

Maxium Touch is a multi, slightly different feel than a SG. Get cheap, to offset the cost of the 1/2 set of gut. Doesn't matter which.

Nope, no Mosby's, but I will put it on the list! I do have a *huge* book of nursing care plans that I picked up for super cheap (like, 3 bucks) from another student.

A cat bite? Sheesh, Sup will have a field day with that one! Probably ask you if you were wearing Adidas when you got the bite.

PS...I loved that diner! Need a reason to go back...hmmm, I could *make* it be on my way to/fro my mom's in PA! Might need an emergency dessert stop!

Before you go crazy with the wish list, wait just a bit, because you will probably have a "required" list of books once you get close to clinicals. I would be surprised if Mosby was not on it, but don't buy until they say. The school could pick a different one.

Sorry TWMAC for the medical timeout, but you guys have gotten some good info. as an aside.

Haha, where were you last week when the Skins lost and the Cowboys won??? Final score 9-7??? You could put those bamas that are in your Thursday night clinic on the Skins team, they probably would put more points on the board.

On a Skins related note... there are 2 Redskins cheerleaders that live in my building... I was talking to them and they told me they make $75 dollars a game (WTF?)... should make Topaz feel better. <prepares to put Topaz on ignore list to avoid soapbox post regarding teacher pay etc.>

On a good note, I won both my FF league games. Frank Gore and Chris Johnson as my RBs = 177pts, Opponent = 80pts, JRK for the win! And I still have Dallas Clark to play on Monday (just so I can run up the score).

Forgot to mention, good hitting with Sappy and Dats on Saturday, even though Dats "Iron Chef'd" his thumb off the night before, he still hung in there... then there was lots of blood. :shock:

FWIW - The VP of Communications at one place I worked was a former Skins Cheerleader. I was a bit shocked that she brought her photo album from her skins cheerleader days into the office.

sappy isn't really a destroyer of buffets. sure he eats a bit more than the average panda bear but not redonkulous amounts of food. like a panda bear he tends to graze all day long.

me - i can probably ingest my baby boy's weight in pasta. if i'm only a little hungry - i could probably eat PPL's weight in pasta. if i wanted to commit suicide, i'd eat JRstriker's weight in pasta.

coincidentally - wookie has become supersized since joining us in bethesda. mobility isn't as good as last year, but his power and touch are all a lot better. not sure which version of wookie is best though. supersized or mighty mugg?

No, it's the 105 version I want... it's still $130. I'm not sure why TW doesn't put that bad-mama-jama on sale.

And yes, I can be the TWMAC Lotto distributor while I'm in Spain. I already found like 10 tennis shops and like 20 tennis clubs within 20 min of Rota. I'm sure everyone over there is just hanging out in Lotto gear, sipping on sangria.

Dial down the jealous meter; they sent the wrong size shorts, so I have to send them back. But now they don't have my size listed. Bummer.

Ordering some generic Lotto shorts (black and white) to tide me over. Heard from the detail guy yet? That might be our best bet to get exactly what we want.
