too bad anyone with a semi-flat, semi-wide foot can't wear these on court. shame what Nike has done to this line of shoe. But they do look good.

I have to laugh....after all the hype and nonsense marketing boogabooga about flywire and lunalite, these shoes are still heavier than the Asic Gel Resolution 2's.

What a joke I ordered them from the competition and they just called me on the phone saying they're out of stock.

Now they're on TW.

Joke.

^^^^^ That always happens when we talk about the prices on HERE. Snitches here called Nike and told them about the comp and now somethings screwy with comps inventory.

Same thing happened to me when i ordered the CB1.3s from the comp. Took 2 weeks to get to me but for that price i can wait.

The competition seems like a family run store out of a trailer.

Very nice folks, but jeeze they effing irked me this week with this one.

I shoulda been loyal to TW.

I feel terrible.

I ordered a full price pair from TW to redeem myself.

Sorry TW.

:(

I didn't go buy them at Niketown cuz I couldn't get there until a week after they had them which was too late. I should have stormed to NT after seeing that dude with them at the courts.

You guys wait until you see them in person, they are beautiful.

Any estimates how long these will take to break in?

I've been wearing mine in the office (they look hot with a suit) for past few hours, they seem to be molding great to my feet...God I cna't wait to hit with them...lol.

5 hours is the Vapor6 BIP.

there's no "rf" as stated before....

the info on TW says RF is present, but the photos don't show it. Has anyone gotten these from TW and can say whether or not there is an RF? I like the look of the shoe, but would rather not have an RF. I play with a K90, and that would put me into the fanatic class and I'd feel like a total fanboy wanker.

Sorry, our description was incorrect and has been changed. The sample of the shoe we received had an RF on the heel, but the in-stock version of the shoe does not.

Again, I'm sorry for any confusion.

Thanks,

breaking in time? feeling better after an hour on the court, but don't lace them all the way up or they will rub the top of the ankle in a bad way

I just bought these on Thursday after using the Vapor V's for a pretty long time. Do the Vapor VI's feel noticebly lighter due to the half ounce decrease in weight?

Anyone have any idea when these Oreo Vapor VI will be coming over to Singapore? I've looked up at quite a few Nike stores, as well as stores selling sports apparel, and none of them had these.

The Navy/Green CourtBallistec 1.3 is available, though. Rather odd, since I thought this particular colourway of the CB1.3 and the Oreos were released at about the same time?

The only versions of the Vapor VI sold in most of these stores are the black/grey, light-blue/white and gold/white (Wimbledon) versions. The red/black US Open (night) version isn't available too.

Erm... anyone has any ideas?

Perhaps I'll go check the stores out this weekend. Perhaps they'll be there after a week. :p

Played 4 sets in the Oreos tonight (6-0, 6-2, 6-2, 6-3) and the love affair continues. The shoe feels better and better, and better. I used to think unhighly of the rubberized Vapor but after using them I'm sold for life.

What a fricking awesome shoe the V6 Oreos are.

The answer is no, you will not get your Vapor 6 in the Oreos colourway in Singapore. Nike only released the Black/Grey, White/Sterling Blue (FO) and White/Gold (Wimbledon) Vapor 6s in Singapore as you had mentioned, while the other colours including the very first White/Charcoal/Silver (with RF on the tongue & heel and the complimentary red spots) were not/will not be released – in fact, the Wimbledon Vapor 6 is the very last colour for the year, in Singapore i.e. Just like last year, Nike only released the AO (white/navy/metallic tweed) and Rogers Cup (white/blue) colourways for the Vapor Vs, along with a God-awful white/dark obsidian/bright cactus version (which Federer never wore), but did not bring the popular FO (white/obsidian), Olympics/USO (white/comet red/black) and black/metallic/cool grey colourways into Singapore. Nike will also not necessarily bring in both the Vapor 6 and CourtBallistec 1.3 from the same release dates. The reason is simple, the Singapore market is just too small to bring in the full range of colours for the Vapors or CourtBallistecs. So don’t bother asking the stores, they will not have the new colours. Get your Vapor fix from TW, it will be a little more expensive than getting it locally with the shipping and all but there really isn’t a choice if you want the nice colours like the awesome 2009 USO black/challenge red RF night shoes or the Oreos.

Darn, that's rather disappointing to know. The Wimbledon ones were probably around for quite some time now in Singapore; don't know why Nike don't want to release here just one more colour before the year ends. No need for Winter 2009 because Singapore has no winter to speak of? :p

I seem to remember seeing the white/silver Vapor VI in Singapore, though, in a few stores. Perhaps I've just recalled wrongly...

Never mind. I've asked a few stores today. It seems they will indeed be coming to Singapore. Two stores mentioned they'll be getting the Oreos at the end of the month. Another would be having the red-black US Open ones. Now it's just to wait... :)

Really? Cool if they do bring it in, but its strange because Nike said they would not be bringing either the USO or Oreos, and the stores would have to rely on Nike for the stocks. Which shops did you ask? The major Nike stores and even those at Queensway rely on Nike, and they would know several months in advance what shoes they would be bringing in so its unlikely they will decide to bring in some shoes at the last minute. Unless those stores you mentioned have a separate source. But I am curious about the shops you mentioned, which are these?

The first store I dropped by was "Lai Sports" in Lucky Plaza. They mentioned getting the "black-and-white" version of the Vapor VIs sometime next month, when asked on whether there'll be new colours.

The second and third stores were the Nike stores in OrchardCentral and Wheelock Place. One mentioned the Oreos; the other mentioned the US Open Vapor VIs. I understand that not all the stores get the same colours, as was the case for the Vapor Vs.

Oddly, none of these Nike stores received the Green/Obsidian CB1.3s yet, but said they'll be getting them soon. (But Lai Sports, and almost every store in Queensway selling tennis footwear had them since a week ago).

I'm not sure too as to why the sudden change in plan from Nike; perhaps the Oreos turned out more popular than they originally anticipated? Or within these months the sales of Vapor VIs increased in Singapore?

Or maybe these stores were just greatly mistaken, and I'm just being happy for nothing. I hope not. :)

I just got my Oreo's today, and believe the hype. They are the best of the vapor series by far, plus they are very comfortable. Took them to the gym today to break them in, and it got a lot of attention from the gym scene. Have yet to take them to the courts.

I'll probably order another pair so they can last till next year.

So just to be clear, these are the ones he wore at Indian Wells?

They look like them. I've been waiting for a release on these forever.

Last night I played some chick that bills herself as a strong 5.0 who is a coordinator in our area. She told me how she loved Fed, yada yada. I asked her how she liked my Oreos since they're the signature Fed shoe and she said they looked "kinda gay". So I turned it up a notch and really destroyed her after she agreed to play some sets. I was near tears when she dissed the O's.

Don't. Don't. Don't. Don't believe the hype.

Sure is, except there is no RF logo on the shoe, just your standard Nike tick.

I agree, the Oreos is a great-looking pair of shoes period!
